ನನ್ನ ಶಾಲೆಯು ಲೈಬ್ರರಿ , ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಕೊಠಡಿ, ಆಟದ ಮೈದಾನ, ಬಾಸ್ಕೆಟ್‌ಬಾಲ್ ಅಂಕಣ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವುಗಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ, ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ವಿಲೇವಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು.

ನನ್ನ ಶಾಲೆ ನನಗೆ ಏನು ಕಲಿಸಿದೆ?

ನನ್ನ ಶಾಲೆಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ಏನು ಕಲಿತೆ ಎಂದು ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಕೇಳಿದರೆ, ನಾನು ಒಂದೇ ವಾಕ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಪಾಠಗಳು ಭರಿಸಲಾಗದವು ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಕೃತಜ್ಞರಾಗಿರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.

ತಂಡ ಮತ್ತು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸಹಕಾರ ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯ. ತಂಡದ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಘಟಕವು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವುದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವಲಂಬಿತವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ, ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಓದುವುದು ನನಗೆ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.

A Study on the Challenges of Government Primary School Teachers in Dakshina Kannada District

Teaching is said to be a noble profession. It is considered to be a profession that identifiesthe potential in the children and try to bring out the destiny of people. Mother is consideredas the first teacher and later teacher in the school will take over the responsibility in moldingthe children so that they can identify their inner talent and reach their goal in life. Teachersalso create the future citizens and to create the administrators, doctors, scientists, engineersand all other professionals. All these are the products of sound teaching order. The Job ofteaching is self-rewarding so far as experience, knowledge and emotional satisfaction areconcerned. In this profession one may work, earn and remain youthful and young as all thetime he/she will be among the youth, thinking new ideas with an innovative spirit. Educationis the backbone of the progressing nation which ultimately depends on the teacher. A qualityteacher is the one who has a passion for teaching can do tremendous changes in the life oftheir children. She is also called the torch bearer; he/she moulds the lives of thousands ofchildren. But generally, they are from a low-income group, and with more jobdissatisfaction. Financially they are weak, socially they are of low status, and they sufferfrom stress. In this paper, the researcher tries to highlight various types of stress and theproblems faced by the primary level teacher working in the government schools in DakshinaKannada. 50 teachers were identified randomly for this research.

Background: Teaching is the most admired and respected profession in every part of the world but it has challenges that must be encountered to maintain its reputation. The study compares the stress stage between teachers working in government high schools and Private High schools in Vijayapura, Karnataka, India. Methods: The participants were 100 teachers working in government high schools and 100 teachers working in private high schools in Vijayapura, Karnataka. Cohen's perceived stress scale assessed the data regarding stress levels and the participants' baseline data was assessed by a structured questionnaire prepared by the researcher. Results: Most government, high school teachers and private high school teachers were above 45. Most teachers were males, 66% of private school teachers, whereas postgraduates , 56% of government teachers and 53% of private teachers had more than 10 years of experience. A significant difference was found in the stress level among teachers working in government and private high schools. The findings suggest that permanent employment and low workload reduced stress levels among high school teachers while higher positions i.e. headmaster and deputy headmaster and lower salaries have increased stress levels. Conclusion: Stress is prevalent in teachers of government high schools and private high schools. There is a need for some strategies that can help teachers prevent stress in them.

This study looks at job satisfaction and stress among secondary school teachers in the Sivaganga district of Tamil Nadu, India. The primary goal of this study was to determine job satisfaction and stress levels among secondary school teachers in the Sivangai district of Tamil Nadu. India. To determine whether there are significant differences in job satisfaction and stress among secondary school teachers based on demographic variables such as gender, age, school location, type of institution, monthly income and family type. This study adopted the Descriptive survey method. The study targeted a total of 150 secondary school teachers. The current study's sample was chosen using a random sampling method. A random sampling method is used to select secondary school teachers from the 150 sivagangai district of tamilnadu as the study sample. The current study used a "questionnaire" as a tool developed by the investigator through a systematic and comprehensive procedure in the design. In this study Job Satisfaction and Stress Scale prepared by the investigator. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaire for teachers was calculated using the split-half method in the present study. The questionnaire's reliability coefficient was found to be 0.76. A majority of the secondary school teachers are dissatisfied with teaching and if given an opportunity would leave teaching for other professions. According to the study, it is critical for the government and other education stakeholders to ensure a high level of career satisfaction for highly qualified and experienced teachers.

This study attempts to identify how the demographics factors affect the organizational stress among teachers. 1.1. REVIEW OF LITERATURES: Sliskovic.A& Sersic.M.D (2011) conducted a study "Work stress among university teachers: Gender and position difference." The researcher investigates exposure to stress at work in university teachers and also identify the difference between men and women as well as between positions. Data was collected from 1168 teachers employed at universities in Croatia. The researcher focuses on six groups of stressors like workload, material and technical conditions at work, relationships with colleagues at work, work with students, work organization and social recognition and status. Women have greater stress as compare to men. This study indicates the teachers in higher education are exposed to high level of occupational stress, middle positions and women in particular. Kaur.S (2011) conducted a study "Comparative study of occupational stress among teachers of private and govt.schools in relation to their age, gender and teaching experience. The researcher focuses the causes of stress and effect of stress and how to manage stress. The researchers identify the stress through different methods like self-analysis, mutual analysis, organizational roles, occupational stress and the various responsibilities of teachers. Reddy.L.G & Anuradha.V.R (2013) conducted a study "Occupational stress of higher secondary teachers working in Vellore District. The study identify the occupational stress of teachers working at higher secondary level.327 sample size was taken for the study. For analyzing the data percentage, mean, SD, t-test, F-tests and multiple regression analysis. The researcher found that 88% of higher secondary teachers are experiencing moderate and high levels of occupational stress. This indicates the need for interventions in strengthing and reinforcing teacher's self-confidence and positive attitude and weaking the stress creating factors. The researchers have suggested some measures which could prove beneficial to teachers in coping with stress are improving self-esteem; build self-confidence practice yoga meditation etc. Hasan.A (2014) study entitled "A study on occupational stress of primary school teachers". This study focuses to compare teachers' occupational stress of primary government and private schools teachers.100 sample size was collected from 50 governments and 50 private schools. The researchers found that in general both primary teachers are highly stressed. Moreover, the private primary school teachers have found to be highly stressed in comparison to government primary school teachers. Ganapa.P& Sreedevi. A (2015) conducted a study on "A comparative study of work related stress among government and private school teachers of Kurnool town". The main objective of the study was to study the difference in stress levels and their associated factors between government and private school teachers and identify the stress related symptoms among school teachers. Stress is an organism's total response to environmental demands or pressures. When stress was first studied in 1950's, the term was used to denote both the causes and the experienced effects of these pressures .Stress may be good or bad. More recently, however, the word stressor has been used for the stimulus that provokes a stress response. The aim of the study was to find out the factor that creates stress among school teachers in Jammu region .The 60 respondents were selected by random sampling method. Data was analysed with the help of factor analysis and Chi square test. The most important factor that creates stress is salary and other benefits, work load, and job security. So by improving these factors job stress can be reduced among the school teachers. The results of this study may be helpful for school administrations and higher authorities to make best possible policies for teachers.

Kannada medium schools dogged by plethora of issues

BENGALURU: Despite the promises made by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to improve the standard of Kannada-medium schools in the state, the reality on the ground is something else. Kannada-medium government schools are no different from other government schools in terms of lack of facilities, faculty members and students. Schools especially in the border areas are worst hit as allocation of funds remains low. The increasing number of private schools also poses a challenge.

Bommai had assured that Kannada-medium schools, not only in the border areas, but also in other states would be upgraded.  School Education and Literacy Minister BC Nagesh also said that a large number of Kannada-medium schools in the Kalyan Karnataka region have been upgraded. Nagesh, however, admitted that besides two major challenges of lack of teachers and classrooms, the bigger problem is a lack of schools themselves.

Two Kannada medium schools in Byndoor in Udupi district have been shut due to lack of funds and students. R Vishal, commissioner, Department of Public Instruction, said, “A majority of the Kannada-medium schools in the state are primary schools. There are fewer secondary schools and even fewer high schools. Understandably, parents prefer to admit their children in schools that have all the three levels, rather than just a primary school,” he said.

Owing to this, many primary schools not only face a shortage of students but are also not given priority when it comes to appointing teachers. “To the best of our ability, we have ensured that each school has at least one teacher, at the very least one guest teacher,” he said. On whether more Kannada schools would be opened, the commissioner said that it did not make sense as 48,000 Kannada government schools already exist in the state.

ಕನ್ನಡ ಪ್ರಬಂಧಗಳು ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯುವ ಪ್ರಬಂಧಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಪ್ರಬಂಧಗಳು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ವಿಷಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತವಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಯ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಪ್ರಬಂಧಗಳು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ವಯಸ್ಕರೂ ಸಹ ಬರೆಯಬಹುದು.
