www.uprtou.ac.in Admission 2024-25

UPRTOU Admission is ongoing for the January 2024 session. The deadline to fill out the UPRTOU admission form is extended till 31 March 2024.  Students can submit the form online at @uprtou.ac.in , students can submit the admission form through the online mode only.   Students can enrol in multiple UG, and PG courses at the UPRTOU according to their eligibility criteria. The University provides various courses at UG and PG levels such as BA, BCom, BLIS, BBA, MA, MCom, MSW, MLIS, MJMC, etc. UPRTOU is offering UG and PG courses under the National Education Policy (NEP-2020) for the 2024-25 academic year.

Rajarshi Tandon Open University offers admission to more than 15 courses of different streams in the UG, PG, and Diploma courses. The university offers all types of courses including UG, PG, M.Phil, PhD diploma, and certificate courses. There is direct admission to the offered courses but students need to take an entry test for research degrees and BEd.

For admission to some of the courses offered in UPRTOU Admission 2024-25, the candidates might be required to appear for an entrance examination. However, admission to most of the UG degree programmes is offered based on the merit list prepared by the university considering the marks scored by the candidates in their qualifying examination. Bachelor of Education entrance exams must be passed before UPRTOU Admission 2024 is granted.

Candidates can opt for UPRTOU Admission 2024-25 in BA, BSc, BEd, BCA, BBA, etc. degree programmes as per their area of interest. Admission to the courses is done based on the merit list prepared considering the marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying examination.

UPRTOU Admission  2024-25  to any undergraduate course is based on the student minimum eligibility criteria which is the student needs to have completed class 12th, 10+2 from a recognized board with the relevant stream to apply for the bachelor's degree. Students must have completed their graduation degree before they can enrol in the B.Ed course. The admission process in the university is completely online and offline.

Students will get direct admission based on their previous qualifications while BEd admission will be based on the merit list prepared by the university on entrance exam scores.

UPRTOU BA Admission 2024

UPRTOU BA Admission is open for the January 2024 session, and the deadline to submit the application form is 31 March 2024 at @uprtou.ac.in . UPRTOU Admission 2024 offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in several specializations. It is a 4-year duration UG degree. UPRTOU BA Admission 2024 is based on the 12th-class marks of the students. UPRTOU BCom Admission 2024

31 March 2024 is the deadline to submit the UPRTOU Admission form 2024-25 at @uprtou.c.in . UPRTOU MA Admission is ongoing for the January 2024 academic session, and the students can register on the official web portal @uprtou.ac.in. UPRTOU MA Admission last date is 31 March 2024 . Students from a variety of fields can apply to the MA program at UPRTOU. UPRTOU Admission 2024 to the PhD course and the last date to fill out the UPRTOU PhD application form have not been announced yet. Those who are seeking admission in the course must have a master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks. Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University Course Admissions

UG Courses, Fees and Eligibility

Uprtou admission 2024-25 eligibility criteria.

To become eligible for the UPRTOU Admission 2024-25 students need to have passed 10+2 from a recognized board or university. The university offers courses such as BA, BSc, BCom, and BBA, those who pass the minimum eligibility criteria can only take admitted in the university and the application forms are available on the university website.

Students should have completed their 12th-grade coursework with 40 to 45 percent of their marks in biology, physics, and chemistry subjects. To be eligible for an MA, students must have completed their undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% in any discipline or the equivalent (Master of Arts).

UPRTOU Admission 2024 is based only on the merit list, there are no requirements for an Entrance examination. 

• To get Admission to any of the UG, Certificate course, or diploma courses that the university offers, the students must have qualified class 12th from any board of education
• For PG courses the applicants must have done graduation in the relevant subjects.
• The Student should be an Indian Citizen.
• The minimum age is 17 years on or before 31st December 2024.
• The student should have passed 12th with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or Life Sciences related.

UPRTOU Admit Card

UPRTOU Admission 2024-25 Admit Card for undergraduate, postgraduate, and other semester examinations is now available on the university website. The last date to apply for the UPRTOU registration is not announced yet   those students who do not have admit cards with them are not permitted to sit in the entrance examination, students should receive one from the university's official website.

UPRTOU Assignment

U.P. Rajarshi Tandon Open University is in Allahabad, and it was set up by Act No. 10/1999 passed by the U.P. Legislature, and signed by the Governor of the state on March 24, 1999.

UPRTOU B.Ed Admission 2022

• UPRTOU BEd Admission for sessions 2022-23 has been started, and the last date will be soon announced.
• UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University offers a Bachelor of Education programme to students who have completed their bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognised university in India.
• Candidates also need to qualify for an entrance test conducted by the university followed by a counselling round.
• The admission will be based on merit scored by the students in the entrance test. Those candidates who have successfully completed the BEd degree can make a career in the teaching field.

UPRTOU PG Admission

The university accepts students with a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field. The degree must be from a UGC-recognized university or equivalent board.

• MA: UPRTOU accepts students from a variety of disciplines for the MA program. Applicants with an interest in languages such as English, comparative literature, Gujarati, Sanskrit, political science, etc. To be admitted to the MA program, applicants must meet the institution’s basic requirements. The student must hold a BA in the stream in which they are applying, from a university recognized by the UGC. The admission will be based on merit scored by the candidate in the last qualifying examination.
• M.Sc: Students must have graduated from the BSc field relevant to the MSc specialization they are applying for. The UG degree must be from a college approved by the UGC or any equivalent board.
• MBA: These admissions will be merit cum entrance exam based. Apart from the JU-EE score, a 55% score for a BBA degree is also needed.

The university invites applications from eligible students only. Applicants are responsible for checking the eligibility criteria required by the university before starting the application process. Share your first name, last name, middle name and contact details to register.  

The admission is based on the first-come, first-served policy. The university uses marks from the previous graduating level to evaluate students’ provisional and merit lists.

Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University Entrance Exam or UPRTOU-EE is an annual admission test. UPRTOU conducts this entrance exam at a national level, and students from any area can get access. UPRTOU B.Ed. 2023 Application Procedure

UPRTOU B.Ed 2023 application form was available till Jun 29, 2023 . For admission, the candidates needed to fill in the online application form for the UPRTOU B.Ed. 2023 Entrance Exam. The form for UPRTOU was available on the official website of the University. The candidates could directly log on to it and register themselves as an applicant for the course. The B.Ed./ B.Ed.SE Entrance Exam Application Form link was embedded on the official page which the candidates could use to apply for the course.

How to Apply for UPRTOU B.Ed 2023 Entrance Exam?

Step 1: Once the candidate visited the application portal, they needed to register their profile by filling in their personal details. These details included fields like Name, Father's name, program applying for, and category. The application consisted of different sections asking for academic records, address proof, contact details, etc.

Step 2: After the candidate details had been recorded, the applicant was required to make the payment for the form. This step confirmed the registration of candidate for the entrance exam. The fee required for the payment of the UPRTOU 2023 is as follows:

Step 3:  Once the payment was made, the candidates needed to enter the rest set of details which included a scanned image of the latest passport-sized photograph and signature. After which the candidate could access the application form on the portal. 

Note: After payment, it took 24 hours for the server to reflect the same, and the candidate cold only log in the next day to complete the final steps.

UPRTOU B.Ed. 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before appearing for any exam, candidates needed to be well versed with the eligibility criteria, such that any important events related with eligibility criteria should not be missed out under any circumstances. The criteria for eligibility for the UPRTOU B.Ed. 2023 examination is given below.

The candidate applying for the course of Bachelors in Education for 2023 needed to have:

• A graduate degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the final mark sheet.
• A post-graduate degree with a minimum of 50% of the aggregate score.
• Also, one of the aforementioned subjects in class 12 is essential for enrolment into B.Ed. entrance examination.

UPRTOU B.Ed. 2023 Admit Card

The admit cards for the entrance test of B.Ed./B.Ed S.E. has been issued on the official portal of UPRTOU. The candidates can log on to the same and download their UPRTOU B.Ed. 2023 admit card by providing their application number and date of birth in the form. 

The candidates have to make sure that they are well aware of the UPRTOU B.Ed. 2023 Exam Pattern for the exam. Being aware of the examination pattern will give the applicants a rough idea about the exam paper. Otherwise, it will create a great impact on the score they obtain.

The exam pattern for the UPRTOU B.Ed/B.Ed. The Entrance Exam is a Pen and Paper-based objective test with a total of 100 questions to be answered within a time frame of 180 minutes. The answering format will be OMR-based records.

The question paper is divided into two parts in the following format.

• General Mental Ability (50% weightage)
• General Awareness (50% Weightage)

• Teaching Aptitude (40% weightage)
• Understanding two teaching subjects (30% per subject)

The candidates will need to choose two subjects from Hindi , English , Mathematics, and Social Science , from which the questions will be asked.

After the conduction of the examination, the University will update the information bulletin on its website once the results are announced.  Further, the university releases a merit list on its website, with the candidate's name and the merit allotted.

There is also a provision for the candidates to get a seat based on the reservation for their category.
