‘ఈ సినిమా న‌చ్చ‌లేదంటే ఇకపై నేను ఇక్క‌డికి రాను, నా సినిమాల్ని తెలుగులో విడుద‌ల చేయ‌ను’ అంటూ క‌థానాయ‌కుడు  సిద్ధార్థ్ ఇటీవ‌ల ‘చిన్నా’ వేడుక‌లో చెప్ప‌డం ప‌రిశ్ర‌మ‌లోనూ... ప్రేక్ష‌కుల్లోనూ చ‌ర్చని లేవనెత్తింది. ఒక‌ప్పుడు వ‌రుస విజ‌యాల‌తో స‌త్తా చాటిన సిద్ధార్థ్... కొన్నాళ్లుగా స‌రైన విజ‌యాల్ని అందుకోలేక‌పోతున్నాడు. ఆయ‌న ఏ భాష‌లో సినిమా చేసినా దాన్ని తెలుగులో విడుద‌ల చేస్తూ వస్తున్నారు. కానీ, గ‌త చిత్రాల స్థాయిలో ఆద‌ర‌ణ పొంద‌లేక‌పోతున్నాయి. ఈసారి ఆయ‌న త‌మిళంలో చేసిన ‘చిత్తా’ని తెలుగులో ‘చిన్నా’ పేరుతో విడుద‌ల చేశాడు. ఈ సినిమా వేడుక‌లో మాట్లాడుతూ సిద్ధార్థ్ సినిమాలు ఎవ‌రు చూస్తార‌ని కొంత‌మంది అన్నారంటూ భావోద్వేగానికి గుర‌య్యారు. ఆ మాట‌లు సామాజిక మాధ్య‌మాల్లో వైర‌ల్ అయ్యాయి. క‌థేంటంటే: ఈశ్వ‌ర్ అలియాస్ చిన్నా (సిద్ధార్థ్‌) మున్సిపాలిటీలో ప‌నిచేసే ఓ చిరుద్యోగి. త‌న అన్న‌య్య చ‌నిపోవ‌డంతో వ‌దిన, అన్న కూతురు సుంద‌రి అలియాస్‌ చిట్టి  (స‌హ‌స్ర శ్రీ) బాధ్య‌త‌ల్ని త‌న భుజాన మోస్తూ జీవితం కొన‌సాగిస్తుంటాడు. అంతా సాఫీగా సాగిపోతున్న ద‌శ‌లో  చిట్టి స్నేహితురాలైన మున్ని (స‌బియా త‌స్నీమ్‌)  లైంగిక దాడికి గుర‌వుతుంది. మున్నిపై లైంగిక దాడి చేసింది చిన్నానే అని ఆరోప‌ణ‌లు వ‌స్తాయి. సాక్ష్యంగా ఓ వీడియో కూడా బ‌య‌టికొస్తుంది. న‌మ్మ‌శ‌క్యం కాని ఆ సంఘ‌ట‌న త‌ర్వాత ఏం జ‌రిగింది?ఆ లైంగిక దాడికి పాల్ప‌డింది చిన్నానేనా?ఇరు కుటుంబాలు ఈ షాక్ నుంచి తేరుకోక‌ముందే చిన్నా అన్న కూతురు చిట్టి కూడా క‌నిపించ‌కుండా పోతుంది. చిట్టి మాయం వెన‌క ఎవ‌రున్నారు?  త‌దిత‌ర విష‌యాలు తెలియాలంటే సినిమా చూడాల్సిందే.

ఎలా ఉందంటే: ఒక సున్నిత‌మైన అంశానికి థ్రిల్లింగ్ నేప‌థ్యాన్ని జోడించి రూపొందించిన చిత్ర‌మిది. చిన్నారులపై లైంగిక దాడుల్లోని ఓ కోణాన్ని ఆవిష్క‌రిస్తూ అంద‌రిలోనూ ఆలోచ‌న రేకెత్తిస్తుంది.  చిన్నారుల సంర‌క్ష‌ణ విష‌యంలో మ‌నం ఏమేం నేర్చుకోవాలో... వాళ్లకి సుర‌క్షితమైన స‌మాజాన్ని సృష్టించ‌డం ఎంత అత్య‌వ‌స‌ర‌మో ఈ సినిమా చెప్ప‌క‌నే చెబుతుంది. మ‌న ఇంటిదాకా వ‌స్తే త‌ప్ప కొన్ని విష‌యాలపై స్పందించం. కానీ, ఇలాంటి సంఘ‌ట‌న మ‌న ఇంట్లోనే జ‌రిగిందా.. జ‌రిగే అవ‌కాశం ఉంది క‌దా! అనే భావ‌న‌కి గురిచేస్తూ ఆద్యంతం హృద‌యాల్ని బ‌రువెక్కిస్తూ సాగుతుంది. (Chinna Movie Review in telugu)  గుడ్ ట‌చ్ బ్యాడ్ ట‌చ్ మొద‌లుకొని పిల్ల‌ల‌ని సెల్‌ఫోన్‌కి దూరంగా ఉంచ‌డం, వారిని ఎప్పుడూ ఓ కంట క‌నిపెడుతూ ఉండ‌టం ఎంత అవ‌స‌ర‌మో ఈ సినిమా చెబుతుంది. ఈశ్వ‌ర్‌, అత‌ని ప్రపంచాన్ని ప‌రిచ‌యం చేస్తూ మెల్ల‌గా క‌థ‌లో ప్రేక్ష‌కుల్ని లీనం చేశాడు ద‌ర్శ‌కుడు. చిట్టి, మున్నీ క‌లిసి ఆటో ఎక్కాక క‌థ‌లో వేగం పుంజుకుంటుంది. ఈశ్వ‌ర్‌పై  లైంగిక దాడి ఆరోప‌ణ రావ‌డం సినిమాలో ఓ పెద్ద మ‌లుపు. ఆ నేప‌థ్యంలో సంఘ‌ర్ష‌ణ కొన‌సాగుతుండ‌గానే చిట్టి మాయం అవుతుంది. అక్క‌డ్నుంచి క‌థ‌లో మ‌రింత థ్రిల్ మొద‌ల‌వుతుంది.

ప్ర‌థ‌మార్ధం స‌న్నివేశాలు, ఆ నేర నేప‌థ్యం ‘గార్గి’, ‘ల‌వ్‌స్టోరి’ త‌ర‌హా సినిమాల్ని గుర్తు చేస్తుంది. ద్వితీయార్ధంలో కేసు ప‌రిశోధ‌న‌, నిందితుడిని వెంటాడే స‌న్నివేశాలు ప్రేక్ష‌కుడికి థ్రిల్‌ని పంచుతాయి. కానీ, చిన్నారుల‌పై జ‌రిగే దాడుల కోణం ఒక‌వైపు మ‌న‌సుల్ని క‌దిలిస్తూనే ఉంటుంది. ఒక‌వైపు ఈ క‌థ‌ని న‌డుపుతూనే మ‌రోవైపు చిన్నారులు, మ‌హిళ‌ల విష‌యంలో జ‌రుగుతున్న హింస‌ని ఎత్తి చూపాడు ద‌ర్శ‌కుడు. (Chinna Movie Review)  ‘చిన్నా చేయి వేసినా అమ్మ‌కి చెప్పాలి’ అని చిట్టికి త‌న త‌ల్లి చెబుతున్న‌ప్పుడు సిద్ధార్థ్ ప‌లికించిన హావ‌భావాలు, ద్వితీయార్ధంలో క‌థానాయిక శ‌క్తి పాత్ర త‌న మామ చేతిలో లైంగిక దాడికి గురైన విష‌యం చెప్పిన‌ప్పుడూ, ఇలాంటి సంఘ‌ట‌న‌ల నుంచి బాధితుల్ని బ‌య‌టికి తీసుకు రావ‌డం ఎంత ముఖ్య‌మో అని చెప్పే స‌న్నివేశాలు సినిమాకి కీల‌కం. నిజాయ‌తీగా చేసిన ఓ మంచి ప్ర‌య‌త్నం ఈ చిత్రం. వాణిజ్యాంశాల జోలికి వెళ్ల‌కుండా క‌థ‌నే న‌మ్మి కొన్ని జీవితాల్ని, కొన్ని సంఘ‌ట‌న‌ల్ని స‌జీవంగా తెర‌పై ఆవిష్క‌రించారు.

ఎవ‌రెలా చేశారంటే: సిద్ధార్థ్  త‌న న‌ట‌న‌తో ఈశ్వ‌ర్ పాత్ర‌కి ప్రాణం పోశాడు. ల‌వ‌ర్‌బాయ్ త‌ర‌హా పాత్ర‌లు చేసి మెప్పించిన ఆయ‌న ఇందులో పూర్తి భిన్నంగా, ఓ స‌హ‌జ‌మైన పాత్ర‌లో క‌నిపించారు. ఆయ‌న పాత్ర నేప‌థ్యంలో పండిన  భావోద్వేగాలు సినిమాకి కీల‌కం. ఈశ్వ‌ర్ వ‌దిన పాత్ర‌లో అంజ‌లి నాయ‌ర్ క‌నిపిస్తారు. చిన్నారులు స‌బియా, స‌హస్ర శ్రీ  న‌ట‌న మెప్పిస్తుంది. ముఖ్యంగా ద్వితీయార్ధంలో స‌హస్ర న‌ట‌న చాలా బాగుంటుంది. Renowned actor Siddharth starred in and produced the Tamil film, Chittha, which has been dubbed in Telugu as Chinna. It hits theaters today. Read our review to discover what it has to offer.

Eeshwar, also known as Chinna (Siddharth), is a government official overseeing his deceased brother’s wife and 8-year-old daughter, Sundari, also known as Chitti (Sahasra Sree). One fateful day, Chitti goes missing, setting Eeshwar on a quest to uncover the truth. What has happened to Chitti, and what bizarre secrets will Eeshwar unearth? The film’s central plot unravels the mystery.

Plus Points:

The storyline is convincing, with a notable focus on narration, especially in the second half. The screenplay also demonstrates a well-structured approach in the latter part of the film.

Siddharth delivers one of his career’s finest performances. His simple yet emotionally resonant portrayal of the character is commendable, as he adeptly conveys the required emotions.

Sahasra Sree’s portrayal of Chitti is both adorable and remarkable. It’s a challenging task for child artists to convey specific expressions with such precision. She deserves more opportunities in the industry for her exceptional on-screen presence.

Nimisha Vijayan, despite the limited screen time, delivers a commendable performance whenever she appears on screen.

The film’s score stands out as one of its greatest assets. It effectively enhances the story’s emotional depth, creating the necessary drama when required.

Additionally, the filmmakers have taken care to ensure that the dubbing and on-screen signage seamlessly integrate into the Telugu version, providing an authentic feel.

Minus Points:

While the storyline is decent, it may not bring entirely fresh elements to the audience. Some plot twists become easily predictable shortly after the film begins. Nevertheless, it’s the screenplay that ultimately elevates the film’s quality.

Director SU Arunkumar could have introduced a more engaging screenplay, especially in the first half. The initial part of the film takes its time to delve into the central plot, resulting in a slower pace.

Stories of this nature, dealing with hard-hitting themes, necessitate a strong emotional connection. Unfortunately, this emotional bond between Siddharth and the child, Chitti, feels somewhat lacking. More scenes depicting their relationship could have enhanced this aspect of the film.

Nimisha Vijayan’s character could have been portrayed with greater depth, and crafting compelling dialogues could have made a significant difference.  

Technical Aspects:

SU Arunkumar has made a commendable effort to create Chinna as a thought-provoking film focusing on child abuse and physical assault. However, a more concise and engaging narrative in the first half could have altered the overall outcome.

Behind the scenes, music director Vishal Chandrasekhar deserves recognition for his contribution to the film. His score significantly enhances the viewing experience. However, the editing by Suresh Prasad could have been further refined. Balaji Subramanyam’s cinematography is admirable, and the production values meet the expected standards.

On the whole, Chinna offers a partially engaging thriller drama with outstanding emotional performances from Siddharth and Sahasra Sree, along with an impactful score by Vishal Chandrasekhar. However, the film largely suffers due to the slow-paced first half, a few superfluous scenes, and a somewhat predictable storyline. You may watch Chinna this weekend, but keep your expectations in check.

Siddharth, whose star power soared to great heights with a series of youthful, romantic, and thought-provoking entertainers, faced a significant downturn in his career as his recent films struggled at the box office. However, he's now poised to return and captivate movie lovers once again, this time with "Chinna," a film he's personally produced.

"Chinna" had already hit the screens a week earlier in Kollywood, where it received rave reviews and generated positive buzz. Siddharth's passion and dedication for the project were evident when he emotionally broke down during the film's promotions, as he struggled to find takers for it in the Telugu film industry.

Despite the challenges, Siddharth remains steadfast in his belief that "Chinna" will serve as the vehicle to reclaim his lost glory in the industry. With the film set to release on October 6, 2023, movie enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating how Siddharth will once again enthrall them with his performance as Chinna.

Siddharth's Chinna: Story Review

Chinna movie is all about how a person takes care of his niece and how he deals with the problems faced by his niece in society. Eashwar alias Chinna (Siddharth) is a government employee working in the Municipal Department in a remote village in Telangana taking care of his niece Sundari (Sahasra Sri) and his sister-in-law (Anjali Nair). 

The film explores how he navigates the challenges faced by his niece, Sundari ( Sahasra Sri), and his sister-in-law (Anjali Nair). However, Chinna's tranquil life takes an unexpected turn, and the narrative unfolds to reveal the connection with Sakthi (Nimisha Sajayan). The rest of the story delves into the repercussions of these events and their impact on the characters' lives.

Siddharth Film Chinna: Artists Review

Siddharth, known for his earlier lover boy roles, ventured into the realm of mass-action entertainers after facing a slump in his career. However, with most of those attempts falling flat, he decided to take a different path. Becoming a producer himself, he presented the film "Chitta," also known as "Chittappa" or "Babai." 

Siddharth's portrayal of the lead character showcased his adeptness at conveying genuine emotions and expressions. His body language and mannerisms, particularly in his role as a caring uncle, resonated deeply with the audience, adding a significant emotional dimension to the film.

The young talent, Sahasra Sree, performed admirably in her role, portraying innocence and pain with conviction, tugging at the heartstrings of viewers. Anjali Nair, in her role as the single mother, delivered a compelling performance that resonated with the audience's emotions. 

Nimisha Sajayan's presence complemented Siddharth and the rest of the cast, leaving a notable impact. Notably, the powerful performances and dialogues between Nimisha and Siddharth in the climax left a lasting impression. The rest of the cast played their roles effectively, contributing to the overall success of the film.

Siddharth's Chinna Movie: Technicians Review

Chinna, directed by SU. Arun Kumar, delves into the harsh realities and crimes against girls in our society. Kumar addresses this sensitive issue with a detailed and comprehensive approach on screen, emphasizing the emotional turmoil experienced by both the victim and the affected family, as well as society's responses. He tactfully conveys the issue of child a....(Things not to do with children) without resorting to gratuitous visuals, relying instead on powerful dialogues.

While the dialogues effectively convey the message, at times, they tend to become preachy. Arun Kumar's dedication to portraying a realistic story is evident, and the screenplay and direction remain focused and devoid of unnecessary commercial elements. However, the slow pacing of the narrative may test the patience of some viewers, especially given the predictability of the plot. It would have been more impactful if Arun Kumar had delivered a stronger take on child problem instead of a somewhat diplomatic ending.

Balaji Subrahmanyam's cinematography adds to the film's authenticity by capturing the picturesque locations of Palani beautifully. Vishal Chandrasekhar's background music enhances the scenes, creating tension and piquing the interest of the audience. The songs are emotionally fitting to the context. Suresh Prasad's editing is acceptable but could have benefited from trimming the slow-paced moments, which hinder the film's flow. Overall, the production values are commendable.

Siddharth also delivers a commendable performance, while Arun Kumar tackles the sensitive topic of child problem with both sensitivity and power, sending a strong message to society. Taking all these factors into account, Cinejosh awards Chinna a Rating of 2.5 .

Chinna Movie Review: సిద్దార్థ్ హీరోగా నటించిన లేటెస్ట్ మూవీ చిన్నా. తమిళ, మలయాళ, కన్నడ భాషలలో సెప్టెంబర్ 28వ తేదీన రిలీజ్ అయిన ఈ సినిమా తెలుగులో మాత్రం కాస్త లేటుగా అక్టోబర్ ఆరవ తేదీన ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు రాబోతోంది తన జీవితంలో చేసిన అత్యంత బెస్ట్ మూవీ అని ప్రమోషన్స్ లో సిద్ధార్థ చెప్పుకుంటున్న ఈ సినిమాను తెలుగు మీడియా కోసం ముందే ప్రదర్శించారు. మరి ఈ సినిమా ప్రేక్షకులను ఎంతవరకు ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది ఎలా ఉంది అనేది ఇప్పుడు రివ్యూలో చూద్దాం

చిన్నా కథ ఏమిటంటే: తెలంగాణలోని యాదాద్రి అనే పట్టణంలో ఒక మున్సిపల్ ఆఫీసులో ఉద్యోగం చేస్తూ ఉంటాడు ఈశ్వర్ అలియాస్ చిన్న(సిద్దార్థ్). ఉదయాన్నే లేవడం పారిశుద్ధ్య కార్మికుల హాజరు తీసుకోవడం, తన అన్న కూతురు చిట్టి/ సుందరిని స్కూల్ లో దించి ఆఫీస్ కి వెళ్లి మళ్లీ ఆమెని స్కూల్ నుండి తీసుకు రావడమే అతని దినచర్య. అప్పుడప్పుడూ ఎస్సై అయిన తన స్నేహితుడితో కలిసి టైం పాస్ చేస్తూ ఉంటాడు. ఈ క్రమంలో కాలేజీలో ఉన్నప్పుడు తాను లవ్ చేసిన అమ్మాయి శక్తి( నిమిషా సజయన్) పారిశుద్ధ్య కార్మికురాలిగా జాయిన్ అవుతుంది. ఆమెతో ప్రేమను మళ్లీ మొదలు పెట్టి లైఫ్ సాఫీగా సాగిపోతోంది అన్న సమయంలో ఎస్సై స్నేహితుడి మేనకోడలు రేప్ కు గురవుతుంది. ఆ రేప్ చేసింది చిన్నా అని భావించి ఎస్సై సహా అతని కుటుంబం చిన్నా మీద దాడి చేస్తుంది. అయితే అదే సమయానికి చిట్టి మిస్ అవుతుంది. అసలు ఎస్సై మేనకోడలు మున్నీని రేప్ చేసింది చిన్నా ఏనా? చిట్టి ఎలా మిస్ అయింది? చిట్టిని ఎవరైనా రేప్ చేశారా? చిట్టి చివరికి దొరికిందా? లేదా? చిన్నా మీద పడ్డ రేప్ ఆరోపణలలో నిజమెంత? అనేవి తెలియాలి అంటే సినిమా చూడాల్సిందే.

చిన్నా విశ్లేషణ: సిద్దార్థ్ తన కెరీర్ లో ఇంతకన్నా మంచి సినిమా చేయలేనని ప్రమోషన్స్ లో చెప్పడంతో ఈ సినిమా మీద అందరిలో అంచనాలు మొదలయ్యాయి. నిజానికి ఈ సినిమా కథ కొత్తది ఏమీ కాదు కమల్ హాసన్ మహానది, సాయి పల్లవి గార్గి సినిమాలో చూపించిన చైల్డ్ అబ్యూజ్ ను ప్రధాన అంశంగా ఎంచుకున్నారు. సాఫీగా సాగిపోతున్న జీవితంలో అనుకోకుండా ఒక కుదుపు ఏర్పడితే ఎలాంటి పరిస్థితులు ఏర్పడతాయి? అనే విషయాన్ని కళ్ళకి కట్టినట్టు చూపించారు. అల్లారుముద్దుగా పెంచుకున్న ముక్కుపచ్చలారని మైనర్ బాలికలు వరుసగా రేప్ కు గురవుతూ, శవాలుగా తేలుతుంటే ఏమీ చేయలేని వారిని ట్రేస్ చేయలేని పరిస్థితులు ఏర్పడితే హీరో అండ్ కో వారి కోసం ఏం చేశారు ? మిస్ అయిన తన అన్న కుమార్తెను సిద్దార్థ్ ఎలా తిరిగి దక్కించుకున్నాడు? తన మీద పడ్డ మరకను ఎలా తుడుచుకున్నాడు? అనే విషయాలను చాలా కన్విన్సింగ్ గా తెరకెక్కించి ప్రేక్షకులను అలోచింప చేశాడు. నిజానికి పిల్లలు అన్నం తినడం లేదనో ఇంకా ఏవేవో కారణాలతోనో వారికి ఫోన్లు ఇచ్చి అలవాటు చేస్తున్నారు. అలా చేయడం ఎంత ప్రమాదకరమో? పిల్లలకి బ్యాడ్ టచ్ గుడ్ టచ్ లాంటివి తెలుపకుండా ఉంటే ఎలాంటి స్థితికి దారి తీస్తుంది అనే విషయాలు చాలా కటువుగా చూపించారు. నిజానికి చైల్డ్ అబ్యూజ్ లాంటివి జరిగినప్పుడు చేసిన వాళ్ళ మీద బాధితురాలి కుటుంబ సభ్యులు మాత్రమే కాదు సభ్య సమాజం కూడా తీవ్రమైన ద్వేషం కనబరుస్తారు, వీలైతే చంపాలి అన్నంత కోపాన్ని చూపిస్తారు. కానీ బాధితులు పక్కన ఉండి వారికి ధైర్యం చెప్పాలి, ఏం జరిగినా పర్లేదు మీకు మేం అండగా ఉన్నామని చెప్పే ప్రయత్నం చేయక పోవడాన్ని ప్రశ్చించిన పాయింట్ సినిమాకి హైలైట్. ఇక ఇంట్లో మామలు, బాబాయిలు కూడా ప్రమాద కరమే అని హెచ్చరిస్తూనే బయటి వారితో ఎలా మెలగాలి అనే విషయాన్ని చిన్న పిల్లలకి నేర్పాల్సిన విషయాన్నీ సినిమా ప్రధానంగా డిస్కస్ చేసింది.. రొటీన్ కథ, కథనాలు అయినా తరువాత ఏమి జరిగిందో తెలుసుకోవాలనే ఆసక్తి ప్రేక్షకుల్లో ఏర్పరచడంలో దర్శకుడు సక్సెస్ అయ్యాడు.

ఎవరెలా చేశారంటే ముందుగా నటీనటుల గురించి ప్రత్యేకంగా చెప్పుకోవాలి.. ఈశ్వర్ అలియాస్ చిన్నా అనే సాధారణ మధ్య తరగతి కుర్రాడిగా సిద్దార్థ్ జీవించాడు.ఈశ్వర్ మీద అనుమానం వచ్చినప్పుడు అతని చుట్టూ ఉండే పాత్రలలో మార్పు, వాటికి అతను ఎలా స్పందిస్తాడు అనే సీన్స్ సిద్ధార్థ్‌లోని నటుడిని కళ్ళకు కట్టినట్టు చూపించింది. అతని ప్రేయసి పాత్రలో నిమిషా సజయన్ అయితే సిద్దార్థ్ తో పోటాపోటీగా నటించింది. కమర్షియల్ హీరోయిన్లు చేయలేని, అసలు కలలో కూడా ఊహించని పాత్రలో ఆమె మెరిసింది. ఇక సిద్దార్థ్ వదిన పాత్రలో అంజలి నాయర్ నటన చాలా బాగుంది. చిన్నారి చిట్టి పాత్రలో సహజ శ్రీ నటన చాలా సహజంగా ఉంది. ఎస్సై, చిన్నా స్నేహితుడి పాత్రలో నటించిన వారు సహా మిగతా పాత్రధారులు అందరూ తమ తమ పాత్రల పరిధి మేరకు నటించారు. ఇక టెక్నికల్ అంశాల విషయానికి వస్తే దర్శకుడు అరుణ్ కుమార్ అందరికీ తెలిసిన కథను తనదైన స్క్రీన్ ప్లేతో మ్యాజిక్ చేసే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడు. హీరోయిజం చూపడం కంటే సీరియస్ ఇష్యూను అంతే సీరియస్ గా రియలిస్టిక్ గా చూపే ప్రయత్నం చేసి కొంత వడకు సఫలం అయ్యాడు. ఇక సినిమాలో పాటలు అంతగా కనెక్ట్ అయ్యేవి లేకున్నా విశాల్ చంద్రశేఖర్ బ్యాక్ గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ థ్రిల్ క్రియేట్ చేయడంలో బాగా ఉపయోగపడింది. అలాగే సినిమాటోగ్రాఫర్ బాలాజీ సుబ్రమణ్యం ఫ్రేమ్‌లు బాగున్నాయి. సిద్ధార్థ్ నిర్మాణ విలువలు సినిమాకి తగినట్టు ఉన్నాయి.

ఫైనల్లీ చిన్నా సినిమా సిద్దార్థ్ కెరీర్లో బెస్ట్ పర్ఫార్మెన్స్ తో ఆకట్టుకున్న ఒక హార్డ్ హిట్టింగ్ మూవీ.. మంచి సందేశంతో ఆలోచింప చేసే సినిమా. Chinna Movie Rating

Following Uday Kiran and Tarun’s exit from the limelight, Siddharth emerged as the next romantic hero in Telugu cinema. Despite his promising start, Siddharth struggled to achieve consistent success, eventually taking a break from Telugu films for an extended period. His comeback attempt with the movie ‘Mahasamudram’ did not have the desired impact. Notably, Siddharth took on the role of a producer for the movie “Chinna” and expressed his deep emotional connection to the project during the press meet. Let’s see what is the movie about.

In “Chinna,” Eeshwar, also known as Chinna (Siddharth), is a government official responsible for his deceased brother’s wife and 8-year-old daughter, Sundari, also known as Chitti (Sahasra Sree). When Chitti goes missing one day, Eeshwar embarks on a journey to uncover the truth behind her disappearance, leading to the unraveling of bizarre secrets.

Plus Points:

The film boasts a convincing storyline with a strong focus on narration, particularly in the second half. The screenplay is well-structured, particularly in the latter part of the film.

Siddharth delivers one of the finest performances of his career, portraying his character with simplicity and emotional depth.

Sahasra Sree’s portrayal of Chitti is both adorable and remarkable, showcasing her exceptional on-screen presence.

Nimisha Vijayan delivers a commendable performance, despite limited screen time.

The film’s score is a standout, enhancing the emotional depth of the story effectively.

The dubbing and on-screen signage in the Telugu version seamlessly integrate, providing an authentic feel.

Minus Points:

While the storyline is decent, it may not introduce entirely fresh elements, with some plot twists becoming predictable early on. However, the screenplay compensates for this.

Director SU Arunkumar could have crafted a more engaging first half with a faster pace, as the initial portion takes time to delve into the central plot.

The emotional bond between Siddharth and Chitti feels somewhat lacking, and more scenes depicting their relationship could have improved this aspect.

Nimisha Vijayan’s character could have been portrayed with greater depth, and more compelling dialogues could have enhanced her role.

SU Arunkumar has made a commendable effort to create “Chinna” as a thought-provoking film dealing with child abuse and physical assault. However, a more concise and engaging narrative in the first half could have improved the overall experience.

Vishal Chandrasekhar’s music score significantly enhances the film, and Balaji Subramanyam’s cinematography is admirable. The production values meet the expected standards.

In conclusion, “Chinna” offers a partially engaging thriller drama with outstanding emotional performances from Siddharth and Sahasra Sree, along with an impactful score by Vishal Chandrasekhar. However, the film is hampered by a slow-paced first half, a few superfluous scenes, and a somewhat predictable storyline. It’s worth a watch, but keeping expectations in check is advisable.

Siddharth is a well-known actor in the Telugu states and has released many successful films throughout his career. While he has not been able to deliver proper success in recent times. he has now come up with Chinna, which has been released today. Let’s see how the film has turned out to be.

Chinna is a small-time employee in the municipality, and the sole caretaker of Chitti, his elder brother’s daughter. After the passing of his elder brother, Chitti’s responsibility falls on to Chinna. One day, one of Chitti’s friends gets assaulted and everything changes completely when Chitti goes missing soon after. What happens hereafter and does Chinna find Chitti in the end forms the rest of the story.

On-Screen Performances:

Siddharth has definitely come out of his lover boy image for this film, in which he is seen in a very different avatar. He has definitely put in a lot of effort when it comes to immersing himself in the character that he has been seen in, in this film. Owing to his image, it might get difficult sometimes to actually believe him in that role, but Siddharth managed to bring his character to life and portray his inner turmoil well enough on the screen.

Sahasra Sri, who plays Chitti in the film, is exceptional in her role and performance, especially in the second half, considering the subject matter of the film. The way she brings out her emotions in the second half tugs at your heart, making you wonder about real-life circumstances.

The rest of the cast, including the leading lady Nimisha Sajayan, are good enough in their roles and have done their part well enough.

Off-Screen Talents:

Director Arun Kumar has taken up a very sensitive subject in this film and decided to take his time when it came to setting up the plot. He has done that well and even executed his story well enough. He raises several important points and questions throughout the film considering how sensitive and delicate the topics he handles are. While everything seems to be nice, one of the major flaws of this film is that it doesn’t really pick up pace until the second half, and seems to be dragging and taking up too much time to establish things. Furthermore, certain scenes throughout the film seem overdramatic, which might not sit well with the audience.

The background scene and cinematography complement the film and its setting well enough and go hand in hand with the story. The production values are good, and the editing is all right.

Plus Points:

• Handling of Sensitive topics

Minus Points:

• Some over-dramatic scenes

Verdict: Chinna is not a movie that was made to entertain you, it is a movie that was made to raise some essential questions and that, it does well. If you’re looking for a film like that, then Chinna is the film for you. Otherwise, it can be skipped.

Ten years ago, Siddharth was an actor who had the level of craze of Mahesh and Pawan. With back-to-back blockbusters, he has acquired a good market in Telugu. But.. for some time he has been waiting for a right hit or an opportunity to make his presence known. Believing in the story, he became a producer himself and produced and acted in the Tamil movie “Chitta”. The difficulties faced by him to release this film in other languages ​​are at an end The tear-jerking performance at the prerelease event moved everyone. The film will finally be released in Telugu and Kannada on October 6. Let’s see how this film has won the praises of Tamil Nadu critics and audiences..!!

Story: Ishwar (Siddharth) lives with his widow (Anjali Nair) and her daughter (Sahasra Shree) whose husband has died. Carrying the household responsibilities on his shoulders, he happily survives by doing government jobs. The elder brother takes care of his daughter, loves Shakti (Nimisha Sajayan), and regularly takes care of the household needs. This is how Ishwar’s daily life runs. Such a simple person blames Ishwar for misbehaving with an 8-year-old girl. What does Siddharth actually have to do with this misbehavior case? What kind of trouble did he have to suffer because of this accusation? Who misbehaved with the child? Can Ishwar catch him? A “small” film is the answer to such interesting questions.

Performances: Siddharth gives his career-best performance as the victim of a mistake he didn’t commit. Especially the satisfaction seen in Siddharth’s eyes when the blame falls on him and the emotion seen in him in trying to find the person who did the wrong will hook the audience. More importantly, Siddharth’s journey as Ishwar, who misses Behave, his brother’s daughter is very emotional.

Also.. Siddharth’s performance in the scene where he tries to touch his brother’s daughter and she pushes him back reminds Kamal Haasan’s performance in the movie “Mahanadi”. It can be said that Siddharth has once again introduced his level as an actor. Malayalam actress Nimisha Sajayan has to say that this film is an excellent Tamil debut. As a modern woman, her character is perfect. Can’t imagine anyone but her in that role.

Anjali Nair acted very naturally in the role of Vadina. Siddharth-Anjali Nair’s combination scenes & their relationship worked out wonderfully. And Sahasra Sri, who played the role of a child, was able to create a good impact. Due to taking a new girl instead of a known actress for this role, the situations and scenes look very natural. The youngster who played the role of a friend was also impressed by the emotional scenes.

Technicalities: Soul on songs by Dibu Ninan Thomas, and background music by Vishal Chandrasekhar are missing. Especially the beer that comes in the context of the appearance of the child fails to elevate the emotion of the scene. A different level of impact would have been created if more care had been taken in the background music of some of those scenes. It must be said that Balaji Subramaniam’s cinematography is another asset of the film. Starting from the opening scene..

With his camera framings, he was able to make sense of what needed to be said with many dialogues in every scene and context till the ending sequence. Also. The way the camera lighting & tint is set according to the mood of the scene is also good. The care taken in editing is also commendable.

The time taken and the effects used are good to give the audience a chance to understand the depth of the scenes that create the emotion. Director SU Arun Kumar should be mentioned. Even though his previous films Sethupathi is an action film, there is a good thrill

China followed the same format. It was an emotional journey for the audience, who were fixed for the interval, and in the second half, he put a lot of tension. At one point it feels like a thriller movie. Also.. no sugarcoating some despicable things happening in society.. A very straightforward approach is appreciated. On the same occasion, Arun Kumar said what he wanted to say very straightly, without any hint of indecency. He showed his responsibility as a director, a storyteller, and a responsible person towards society.

Analysis: Many films have already come out with the concept of child abuse. Recently “Gargi” also came. But seriously, no one could give a solution. If not. How careful the parents of girls should be is being highlighted. Parents of girls are not.

Verdict: “Chinna” is a must-watch movie for everyone. The more hard-hitting the concept, the more interesting the story. Siddharth’s acting, screenplay & core point is a must-watch movie!
