Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the IGNOU assignment last date for ODL and online programmes for June TEE 2024 to be on May 15, 2024. The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

Where & How To submit The IGNOU Assignment

There are multiple ways to submit the IGNOU Assignments. You can submit your assignments offline by visiting your study centre, or you can also submit online(Only if Regional Center Allows Online Mode) by google form or via email provided by the regional centre. Here we will share all the ways in detail.

Note:-The student has to submit the assignments only through one medium, the online assignment portal or as a hard copy at his study centre.

Offline Process 2024

The primary and general way to submit the ignou assignment is the offline mode . In this mode, you will have to visit your study centre, and you can give them directly. You can find your study centre address on your IGNOU ID Card and also on your registration portal . After giving your assignments, don’t forget to take the submission slip for future reference.

How To Submit assignment through Courier if the study center is far from you

If you are far from your study centre, you should contact them via their email or contact number. They will provide the proper instructions to post the assignments at their office address. Few study centres allow you to post the assignments through any courier service if you are not present in the current address of your study center. This is how you can submit your assignments via any courier service but always remember this facility provides only a few study centres; not all of them.

Online Process 2024

Due to the pandemic, a few regional centres of IGNOU have started the online submission of IGNOU assignments. If students cannot visit the study centre, they can use the online mode via google form and email address. Here is the complete step-by-step process to submit in online mode.

Only handwritten Assignments are accepted. (Type/Computer prepare Assignment are not Allowed)
The Scanned assignments PDF must be clearly visible. If the assignments of a student cannot be read/seen, then his assignments will be rejected without any notice, which will be the responsible by the student himself.
The maximum size of the PDF file of the assignment should not exceed 100 MB

Don’t Re-submit The Assignments
If you submit a hard copy to your study centre, then don’t submit via online mode
If a student is unable to submit the assignment online, they can submit their assignment in hard copy at their Study Center.

On The Assignment Submission Portal, Submit Only Assignments Don’t submit Projects, Synopsis etc.
PDF password or Access Permission should not be there, if PDF password or Access Permission is applied for any Assignment PDF, they will be rejected without notice, which will be the self-responsible student.

Know How many Times You Have To Submit The Assignments in A Year

There are two types of programs at IGNOU University, semester-based and year-based. If you appear in exams twice a year, like for BCA, MCA, and MBA,B.com,M.com programs, then you are in a semester-based program. And If you appear in exams only once a year, like BA, B.Com, M.Com, B.Sc, and M.Sc programs, then you are in a year-based program. So if your programme is year-based, you have to submit assignments once a year, and if your programme is sem-based, you have to submit twice a year. You need to log in to your admission portal to know whether your programme is year-wise or sem-wise. you can also check this list to know.

When to Submit IGNOU Assignment

Same as Programme, there are two cycles/sessions at IGNOU University. One is from January to June(called the January session), and the other is from July to December(called the July session), so if you have been admitted, in the January session and Your course is semester-wise, so you will have to submit the Assignments in March. And if your course is yearly-wise and you have taken admission in Jan, so you have to submit the assignments in September.

Same as Above, if you took admission in July and your programme is sem-based, then you need to submit in September, and for the year-based programme, you have to submit in next year March

Assignment submission for June 2024 session has started from 1 March 2024. Both ODL and OL Programme mode student has to submit assignment for each course code. IGNOU Exam form submission has also started and student can Apply for exam.

What is Assignment Submission Deadline in IGNOU ?

IGNOU assignment last date is also called the deadline to submit assignment at Study center. Online mode (OL) learner need to submit assignment at LMS (Learning Management System). As per University Calendar Assignment submission is done twice every year for June and December session .

As per instruction, IGNOU assignment submission last date varies from programme to programme. The due date is mentioned in the instruction page of assignment question paper.

For TEE June Cycle / Session : In this cycle Assignment submission starts from 1st March and ends on 31 March but in some case (like when admission for January Cycle is delayed ) the University extends the last date for assignment submission like for TEE June 2022 session it was extended upto 20th July 2022 and
For TEE Dec Cycle/ Session : In this cycle Assignment submission start from 1st September and ends on 30th September but in some case (like when admission for July Cycle is delayed) the University extends the last date for assignment submission.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for submission of assignments for ODL and online programmes for the June 2024 Term End Examination (TEE). As per an official notice, the deadline to submit the assignment is till May 15. Students who are enrolled in the ODL, online courses, GOAL and EVBB for the June 2024 TEE can now submit their dissertations, projects, practical files, and internship reports on the official website of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in.

“With the approval of the competent authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for term end examination, June 2024 for both ODL and online programmes, GOAL and EVBB has been extended up to May 15,” reads the official notification.

IGNOU Distance MBA Course Structure

The IGNOU Distance MBA course is divided into 21 subjects that a student will study during the course. Each student needs to clear the exam of these 21 subjects to successfully get the degree of Distance MBA.

These 21 subjects are divided as follow:

The IGNOU OPENMAT for January Cycle was conducted on 11 April 2024.
Any Graduate (Including Chartered Accountancy/ Cost Accountancy/ Company Secretary) with 50% for General Category/ 45% for Reserved Category can apply for the course.
Except for a few programs, there is no entrance test for admission.
There is no age limit to apply for the course of Distance MBA at IGNOU.
Clearance of OPENMAT entrance test of IGNOU is a must for MBA admissions.
After clearing OPENMAT, the student has to fill the Application Form to apply for his candidature.

IGNOU Assignment Weightage

Each IGNOU programme gives assignments a 30% weighting, so candidates can't disregard them. They must compose the best assignment solution in order to receive higher grades in the end, as well as to improve their performance report on their grade card. Without assignments your course is unfinished, and you must submit it to finish it.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Last Date for TEE June 2024

The deadline for submitting IGNOU Assignments for the Term End Exam June 2024 is May 31, 2024. The due date is only subject to change if the IGNOU Head of Office issues a social notice; otherwise, it remains constant. Because the due date varies by programme, candidates are recommended to confirm the due date with their IGNOU course after obtaining the assignment question from this page.

The deadline for IGNOU assignments has been extended to June 2024. We would like to inform all IGNOU applicants that IGNOU has extended the deadline for submitting IGNOU Assignments for the June 2024 session from April 30th to May 31st.Candidates are encouraged to submit their assignments before the deadline, rather than waiting for the next assignment extension period. The provided deadline will be the final date for the study centre to accept assignments. The deadline is still a long way off, so you have plenty of time to complete all of your tasks before the deadline and submit them without delay.

What Is the Procedure for Submitting An IGNOU Assignment Online?

We've got questions about submitting IGNOU assignments via email after scanning the written assignments. Only if they receive an SMS from their regional or study centre can candidates transmit their assignments through email. If you have not got an SMS or email regarding online assignment submission, you must wait for IGNOU to send you an official notification. Which IGNOU Session Should I Submit My Assignment?

To sit for the TEE Exam in June 2024, candidates from all programmes must submit only the 2024-25 session assignment. If your programme has assignments available for the July 2024 and January 2025 sessions, submit a new assignment to the IGNOU Study Center rather than the previous one.

If a student has submitted a first-year or first-semester assignment to IGNOU SCs during the January-July 2024 session, they can submit a second-year or second-semester assignment during the January-July 2024 session.

When will IGNOU Admission start?

Admissions of IGNOU have started from 3rd February 2024 and the last date of admissions is 15th April 2024. IGNOU Project Submission for June 2024 – IGNOU Project submission for term end examination of June 2024 is now officially started for those students who have practical components in their syllabus. It is now official that the last date for submission of IGNOU Projects will be 31st May 2024 for TEE June 2024 for online as well as offline modes.

IGNOU is one of the most prestigious distance learning universities in India that has been offering a diverse number of programs and courses. Along with the operations of many other Universities, the operation of IGNOU has been also impacted by the current situation in the country. Hence, it has made a number of changes in its curriculum in order to provide the students with comfortable options for completing their assignments and projects and submitting them accordingly safely.

IGNOU Project Guidelines

IGNOU frequently releases a list of guidelines for both assignments and projects so that the students can submit them properly and on time. The university has introduced an online mode for project submission to make submissions convenient for the candidates.

The notice also mentioned a few of the points that the students need to abide by for their IGNOU project submission.

The project has to be prepared as per the same project guidelines that were mentioned in the booklet that was sent to the students earlier with the SLM.
While submitting the project online, the learners have to make sure that they have signed the original Proposal Proforma, Biodata, and synopsis or the project. Similarly, the Project Guide has to sign on the original certificate and others and then have to scan copies for online submission.
The learners should get digital approval of the Project Guide on the Proforma and the synopsis by email to the Regional Center which can be obtained from the official website of the concerned RC.
There will be separate guidelines provided regarding projects that require fieldwork. The students can also contact the Programme Coordinator for the purpose.
The original documents of the project have to be scanned and converted into PDF format for submission. Also, the guidelines for the Cover Page of the project have to be strictly followed.
The students will be provided with further guidelines about the viva-voce for the projects by the designated faculties of the Regional centers.

When to Submit the IGNOU Project?

The last date for the submission of assignments and project reports for IGNOU TEE June 2024 is 31st May 2024 . However, the university may extend the date further if the students are not able to submit the assignments, projects, and other important materials due to the network problem that occurred in the server.

As per the latest notification, the university has also mentioned that the students will be able to submit the project reports until 31st May without any late fees.

Also, it mentioned that the students have to submit the project reports online in place of offline submission.

How to Submit the IGNOU Project?

Candidates who have been submitting project reports and assignments offline to date may find it a bit uncomfortable thinking about it. However, the steps for project submission online have been made much easier and more convenient by the IGNOU portal. Students can submit the IGNOU project quite conveniently by following these simple steps.

Step – 1 – First, the student has to go to the official website of IGNOU at http://www.ignou.ac.in .

Step – 2 – Here, on the homepage itself, you will be able to find the Online Link for Submission of Project Reports in the ALERTS section.

Step – 3 – As you click on this link, you will be redirected to a page of Guidelines that you need to go through to understand the instructions for project submission.

Step – 4 – At the bottom of the Guidelines page, you need to click on Yes for the question asked Do You Want to Continue?

Step – 5 – As you click on yes, a menu will open up from where you need to click on Upload Project.

Step – 6 – Now another page will open up of Student Support Services.

Step – 7 – Here, you need to fill in the details such as enrollment number, program, and others.

Step – 8 – Now, click on the Submit option after entering the Security Code carefully.

Step – 9 – Now, on the next page, follow the instructions and submit the project carefully.

IGNOU Project Front or Cover Page

The IGNOU Project cover page is an important element that you need to take care of while you are submitting the project report online. The guidelines for the cover page are already mentioned in detail in the Booklet provided to you along with the SLM. Also, the same guidelines of the cover page are mentioned in the guidelines page that you come up with when you are submitting the project.

There are some of the important details that you need to highlight on the project report cover page when you are submitting it online. These details are the project report title, name and enrolment number of the candidate, program code and regional center code, course code for which the project has been submitted, mobile number, and the email address of the student.

IGNOU Project Status and Result 2024

The IGNOU Project Status link should be linked at least 20 to 25 days after the last date for the project report submission. As soon as the status link is released, the students will be able to check through their project report status by visiting the official website of IGNOU.

Follow these steps to check your project report status.

Step – 1 – On the official website of IGNOU at http://www.ignou.ac.in , you will find the Project Status link when it is being released by the University.

Step – 2 – As you click on the link, a page will come up where you need to log in with your University credentials.

I was supposed to submit the BCA project synopsis in Dec 2022, but now it is about to be Dec 2023 and now this time i am trying to submit the synopsis and i was filling exam form and not seeing the option for project, how can i pay project fee now. How do i proceed from here. Please if you have any valid way please help me out.

Hi, Can we submit the synopsis (project proposal) i.e MS-100 For MBA programme through online mode. If yes, where to submit the same? Thanks

1. I have cleared all my courses in Management Program MP (grade card attached) except Project MS 100. My Project Proposal has already been accepted & approved bearing proposal number – 117298.

2. Against this proposal, I have already submitted my Final Project Report, which has been received at IGNOU SO dated on 10/06/2022, time: 14:22:55 as per status provided by India Post. No information has been provided regarding the completion of evaluation of the Final Project of MS 100 by IGNOU.

3. My grade against MS 100 (Project) has not been updated till date as per IGNOU Grade Card downloaded dated on 19.12.2022 attached herewith.

4. As per the latest reply received from iGRAM IGNOU; ie REPLY- “Dear Learner, MS-100 project report of June-2022 TEE is under evaluation process and marks/result will be updated in grade card status shortly. With best wishes, Project Section, SED”; but still the grade of MS 100 has not been updated till date.

5. I have already emailed in the past to [email protected] , [email protected] dated on 12th September, 8th & 20th October, 1st, 9th, 12th, 16th, 23rd & 30th November & on 13th December for the query pertaining to updation of MS 100 grades.

I humbly request to kindly look into the matter as I am extremely worried whether my MP Final Project (Management Program) has been evaluated or not as my degree against the Management Program MP is on the line. It is requested to kindly update my MS 100 Grades at the earliest please.

Please help as this is my last year, waiting in anticipation of your kind response…
