The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

IGNOU Assignment Last date Extended, Applicable to Project submission too.

This is applicable to All Programme student under TEE June 2024 SSN including Master and Bachelor Degree. IGNOU Assignment last date is common for all students irrespective of Admission year, Programme or Mode (ODL or OL).

IGNOU Assignment last date is always extended from 31 march to 30 April because of extension in admission date for January session. Student can submit assignment for June 2024 session before the deadline date.  Click to know "Assignment Writing Tips" effectively. Check previous Session extended last date(s) here for reference purpose. Extension notification is delayed for coming June session because of weekend holiday in end of march month.

Further, IGNOU Exam form last date is extended till 25  May 2024 . So it implies in a way that Assignment last date also to be again extended around the last date of exam form submission. This is as per previous session practice of extension in last date for assignment and exam form together.  Also the study material delay delivery is reason for assignment date extension. Assignment submission for June 2024 session has started from 1 March 2024. Both ODL and OL Programme mode student has to submit assignment for each course code. IGNOU Exam form submission has also started and student can Apply for exam.

IGNOU assignment last date is a time frame given to the students. They need to download question paper and submit assignment answers at Study centre (for ODL mode students ) or at LMS (for OL mode students ). Assignment to be submitted at study centre in Offline mode (in person / Speed Post) or as per your Regional Centre guidelines.

The last date is mentioned on the assignment question paper itself. As per assignment question paper for few programme last date is 31 March 2024 while it is 30 April 2024 for few programme.  The Bottom line is 30 April 2024 is the last date for all IGNOU Programme because last date is never programme specific.

BCA, MCA, MBA, etc) if not submitted assignment for TEE December 2023 can now submit assignment in March – April 2024.

How to submit IGNOU Assignment ?

IGNOU assignment plays very important role in fetching good percentage of marks, so you should give attention to the assignment portion along with your theory exam. Assignment should be hand written. After wring assignment answer attach cover page ( Click here for cover page) on each of your assignment. Tie all the pages nicely to avoid any paper misplacement during evaluation. What is Assignment Submission Deadline in IGNOU ?

IGNOU assignment last date is also called the deadline to submit assignment at Study center. Online mode (OL) learner need to submit assignment at LMS (Learning Management System). As per University Calendar Assignment submission is done twice every year for June and December session .

As per instruction, IGNOU assignment submission last date varies from programme to programme. The due date is mentioned in the instruction page of assignment question paper.

• For TEE June Cycle / Session   : In this cycle Assignment submission starts from 1st March and ends on 31 March but in some case (like when admission for January Cycle is delayed ) the University  extends the last date for assignment submission like for TEE June 2022 session it was extended upto 20th July 2022 and
• For TEE Dec Cycle/ Session : In this cycle Assignment submission start from 1st September and ends on 30th September but in some case (like when admission for July Cycle is delayed) the University extends the last date for assignment submission.

1. For Student of Year based UG, PG, PG Diploma or Diploma programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Year based (Eg : MEG, MPS, MCOM, MPA etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Year assignment between 1 - 30th Sep 2021 and this session is considered as TEE DEC 2022 SESSION . For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE DEC 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

2. For Student of Semester based UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Semester based (Eg: BCA, MCA, MP, PGCCL etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Semester assignment between 1 - 30th March 2021 and this session is considered as TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION .For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

Note : Assignment Question paper can be downloaded from University Website. Before writing assignment answers check the validity of Assignment question paper which is written on the Assignment Question paper itself. Student who could submit assignment then they need to download fresh Assignment Question paper from website.

The IGNOU Student Evaluation Division (SED) monitors and updates Term-end examinations result, assignments submisisons and extension of dates, projects, practical examinations, dissertations, viva-voce, field work, etc. and award of  degrees/ Diplomas/ certificates.

First year July 2023 admission session students of MEG, MCOM, , MHD, MPS, MAH, MSO, MAPC, MEC, MPA, MAAN, MGPS, MARD, MSCDFSM, MSCCFT, MSW, MSWC, MAEDU, MADE, MAAE, MAPY, MADVS,  MAGD, MATS, MAJMC etc can submit assignment for June 2024 session. The last date of IGNOU assignment is 30 April 2024.

Students also have the option to submit their assignments through email, but this option is not available for all assignments. It depends on the faculty and how they want their assignments. Hence, one must make sure that submitting IGNOU assignments through email is an option and that they have the correct email ID.

Below are the points to remember before submitting IGNOU assignment online. Students must follow all the points to avoid rejection of their assignment.

• IGNOU only accepts handwritten assignments; no typed assignments are allowed.
• The document should be in the form of a PDF.
• The scanned document should be clearly visible, avoiding submitting blurry images. If students submit blurred PDF files, they might lose marks.
• The maximum size of the document should not exceed 100 MB.
• The file should be saved under your name.

• If the student has submitted a hard copy to the institution, then online submission is not required.

How Many Times Can You Submit IGNOU Assignments in a Year? 

There are two systems of programs at IGNOU: semester and year. If you are taking exams twice a year, like for courses like BCA, MCA, MBA, B.Com, and M.Co, then you are in a semester program. On the other hand, if you appear in exams only once a year, then you are in an annual program. So, if your course is annual, you must submit assignments once a year, and if your program is semester-based, you must submit assignments twice a year. You must log into your admissions portal to know if your program is full-year or half-year. 

IGNOU will always mention the deadline by which sstudents should submit their assignments. In general, the deadline is April for the June session and October for the December TEE. Students should check the IGNOU website for the latest information on assignment submission deadlines.

The following are the criteria on which assignments are evaluated by the faculties. Students must follow all the criteria to achieve high marks in the assignments submitted online or offline.

• Content: The faculty will assess the content of the assignment to ensure that it is accurate, comprehensive, and relevant to the topic of the assignment.
• Structure: The faculty will assess the structure of the assignment to ensure that it is well-organized and easy to follow.

Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU 2021-22 updates on admission, registration, Term end examination (TEE) can be checked here by all candidates. Today – December 31, 2021 is the last date for various events like January re-registration, Exam Form submission with late fees and Assignment submission. Candidates can do the needful as per their requirements on the official website, ignou.ac.in.  

IGNOU 2021-22 events' deadlines were extended many times for all candidates. As mentioned before, events associated with December TEE are very important for candidates as the exams are expected to begin from January 20, 2022. These include both exam form and assignment submission. 

Along with this, the re-registration deadline for both UG, PG courses was earlier set for December 15, 2021. However, after receiving demands from students, it was extended till today. Check the direct links shared below for all events.

IGNOU Exam Form June 2024 – The university has officially started the submission of the IGNOU Online Exam Form for the Term End Exam session June 2024. The Last Date for Submission of the IGNOU Exam Form for TEE June 2024 is 22nd April 2024 without late fees. If you want to appear in the IGNOU upcoming TEE then fill up your Online Exam Form now of your selected program to become eligible to appear in the examination. Before starting to fill up your exam form for a particular examination, the students must be eligible and comply with the given criteria to fill out their exam application form for any of the term-end exams conducted by IGNOU.

IGNOU Exam Form June 2024

The submission of the IGNOU Exam Form for TEE June 2024 is now officially started by the university. As expected, it was started on its scheduled date without any delays as the TEE June 2024 is scheduled to be held in the month of June & July 2024. The students are requested to check for the official dates for submission of the IGNOU Examination Form for June 2024.

IGNOU University invites exam form submissions by two methods. Online as well as Offline (Limited). In the Online method, candidates have to fill and submit their application form through online mode. Online procedure is fast and reliable which can be completed in a few minutes from anywhere. Candidates have to pay their IGNOU Exam Fee also through online mode.

In Offline mode, candidates have to first download an examination form from our page and then they have to submit their exam form to the concerned regional centre. Candidates have to pay the fees through offline modes like Cash, DD, and Cash challan which is followed by the regional centre. The Application form for the exam is also available at the regional centre. It is noted the offline method is not available for all students instead available for a limited students like international students or the students who is eligible to fill the offline exam form under some circumtances so the students always go for an online mode unless your RC chooses to receive the applications through offline mode.

Requirements Before Submission of IGNOU Exam Form

• You must have submitted the required IGNOU Assignments for your program to the concerned study center before filling your exam form online
• Check your last session IGNOU Result status and then apply for an upcoming exam
• Student’s Registration or admission must be valid at the time of filling out the form
• Candidates must be eligible for the course for which they want to fill out the examination form
• The candidate must have completed the minimum time duration between admission and examination
• Keep in mind that the course code for BA/BSc/BCom is listed separately in the list so select your course accordingly

All candidates have to follow the online procedure because it is available for you to submit the Term End Exam Form to the university for the upcoming session of June 2024. Under a few circumstances, candidates can download offline exam forms and submit to IGNOU to appear in the upcoming exam.

IGNOU Exam Form June 2024 Important Dates

IGNOU Online Exam Form submission for the upcoming June 2024 is now officially open by the university for all eligible students to apply online. It was already expected that the submission dates will be started on their scheduled dates without any delays. Therefore, candidates are now requested to look at the expected dates regarding the start and the last date for the TEE June 2024 exam form submission. Candidates are advised to read our given guidelines to fill out their examination forms properly. IGNOU students have to note that the above dates are the official dates from the university official so you must consider them as the final and confirm dates to fill out the exam form for the term-end exam session June 2024.

About FST-1, BSHF-1 & BEVAE-181 Exams

As per the official notification by the university, IGNOU will be held the examination for the above three courses in the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) so candidates are advised to prepare for their examination according to the new method.

How To Fill IGNOU Online Exam Form 2024?

• First Open the Online IGNOU Exam Form Submission link.
• Enter the Programme code or select from the list of program code.
• Enter your 9 or 10 digit Enrollment Number.
• Select Regional Centre from the dropdown list in which you want to appear (You can select any regional centre across India).
• After entering all the above details, click on submit.
• Here, you have to fill the complete application of examination form by selecting your examination centre code.
• Enter your Birthdate, Gender and select your courses (Theory and Practical) in which you want to appear in TEE June 2024.
• Now, you have to select the option called Assignment submitted or not so select “Yes” and proceed with clicking on the Submit button.

Note: The university has revised the examination fees for practical courses as well as project courses. The same will be applicable for TEE June 2024. How To Change the IGNOU Exam Centre?

If a candidate wants to change their exam centre then they can make changes through online mode and the link to change the exam centre is now kept online by the university on the decided schedule. Candidates can make the changes only between given dates therefore no application will be accepted after the last date of application.

Previously, the change can be made through offline mode only but IGNOU is now allowing students to change their examination centre through online mode if they select it by mistake or they are transferring to another place. Note – It is noted that the students can not change their examination centre by submitting an application through email or in a letter form to their RC.

IGNOU Exam Form Refund Policy 2024

As we all know that IGNOU Fees are non-refundable so if you want to skip your examination after submission of your exam form then you won’t get any refund of your paid fees to the online exam form portal. It is noted that if you had paid your examination fees twice because of transaction failure or any other server issue then you are eligible to get a refund for excessive payment of fees. Candidates can make a request for a refund of excessive payment of exam fees after the issue of the IGNOU Hall Ticket.

IGNOU Exam Form Submission for Overseas Students

If you are an International Student of IGNOU University then you have to submit your exam form and fees through offline mode only. Online Mode is not available for overseas candidates so submit your offline exam form with required fees at the international division of IGNOU, New Delhi.
