• Vishal Gunni IPS 1st Posting at Narsipatnam as an ASP ( Assistant Superintendent of Police ) in the year 2010. At that time Vishal Gunni IPS played a pivotal role in actively working to eradicate Naxalism and diligently spreading awareness among the populace to steer them away from Naxal activities.
• From 20.08.2018 to 06.01.2016. Vishal Gunni IPS working as OSD at Narsipatnam.
• Following his tenure in Visakhapatnam until February 2016, Vishal Gunni, an IPS officer, was transferred to Nellore District as the Superintendent of Police.  
• In March 2016, he assumed the role of Superintendent of Police for Nellore District, effectively managing and mitigating numerous criminal and antisocial activities in the area. He continued his service in Nellore District until June 20, 2017.
• On June 26, 2017. Vishal Gunni assumed the position of Superintendent of Police (SP) for East Godavari District. Through his courage and dedication, he effectively quelled numerous Maoist activities in the district and issued orders for the arrest of individuals who had been functioning as couriers for Naxalites. Till June 5th, 2019 he was working as SP for East Godavari District.
• On June 6, 2019. Vishal Gunni IPS Transferred as Superintendent of Police  for Octopus, Andhra Pradesh Police.
• From June 2019 to June 2020, Vishal Gunni IPS served as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Octopus unit. Till June 12, 2020. he was in that position and then On 13 June 2020, He was transferred to Guntur Rural District as  Superintendent of Police  (SP).
• On June 15, 2020. Vishal Gunni IPS assumed the role of Superintendent of Police  (SP) for Guntur Rural District. During his tenure, he initiated a program named "Dial Your SP," facilitating direct communication between the people and the District SP. This program aimed to promptly address public concerns by enabling direct interaction with inspectors and DSPs, ensuring immediate solutions to community issues. Dial your SP program is compulsory in the grievance every Wednesday.
• In April 2022, Vishal Gunni IPS transferred and posted as Commandant , APSP 6th Battalion, Mangalagiri.
• On June 17, 2022. Vishal Gunni IPS, was transferred to Vijayawada. He assumed the role of Deputy Commissioner of Police (L & O) for Vijayawada City within the NTR Commissionerate. Under his supervision, significant developments occurred in the NTR Commissionerate, leading to a reduction in the crime rate and the establishment of an effective traffic management system. During the recent Dusshera Devi Navaratri Festival in October 2023, all arrangements were efficiently managed under the supervision of DCP Vishal Gunni IPS, ensuring no inconvenience to the public.
• On 24 December 2022. Vishal Gunni IPS has been Promoted to Senior Superintendent of Police Rank. At Present As of November 5, 2023. Vishal Gunni IPS Working as a Deputy Commissioner of Police (L&O) for Vijayawada City in the NTR Commissionerate, Andhra Pradesh.

A 2010 batch IPS officer Mr Vishal Gunni took charge as the superintendent of police for Nellore district here on 6th March. Before coming to Nellore, Mr Vishal served in Narsipatnam and Visakhapatnam in various capacities.

Mr Vishal is the 40th SP of Nellore district. He gave his phone number as 9440796300 and announced that he is available 24×7 at the service of people.

His predecessor Mr Gajarao Bhupal has been transferred to the CID. Mr. Gajarao escaped unhurt in the recent mob attack on the Nellore One Town police station, in while his car was damaged. Prakasam SP Ch. Srikanth has been looking after Nellore district also after the incident.

For this u take some action with people who were qualifying constable written exam and even they are not get job in interview. Vishal Gunni takes over as DIG of Visakha range

Vishal Gunni, who has been posted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police, Visakhapatnam range, assumed office on Monday.

In the recent reshuffle of IPS officers, Vishal Gunni, who was the DCP (law and order) of Vijayawada, was transferred to Visakhapatnam on promotion as DIG. The officer, who belongs to the 2010 IPS batch, had served as ASP of Narsipatnam sub-division between 2013 and 2015 and later as the OSD in Visakhapatnam rural district.

Speaking to the media after taking charge, Vishal Gunni said he would lay special focus on areas like Paderu and Manyam. “Similarly, I will pay special attention to curb the ganja smuggling in the range,” said the DIG. He further said that all wings in the department would be strengthened to ensure justice for those who approach the police.

Stating that he would always be available to the people, Vishal Gunni appealed to the media to double-check the facts before the news got published. Earlier, SPs, officials and other staff members in the range met and greeted the newly posted official.

Vishal Gunni takes charge as Vizag DIG

Visakhapatnam: Vishal Gunni has officially stepped into his new role as the deputy inspector general (DIG) in Visakhapatnam on Monday, following his recent promotion within the police department. Previously serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in the rural district of Visakhapatnam from 2013 to 2015, specifically in the Narasipatnam area, Gunni brings valuable experience to his new position.

The former deputy inspector general (DIG) of Visakhapatnam, S. Hari Krishna, has been reassigned to the IG Personnel position at the Director General of Police (DGP) office in a recent reshuffle.

In his inaugural media address, Gunni expressed his unwavering commitment to delivering justice at the grassroots level of policing. He outlined his focus on addressing issues such as cannabis cultivation and trafficking in regions like Manyam and Paderu. Additionally, Gunni underscored his dedication to upholding the rules and regulations set forth by the Election Commission, especially with upcoming elections.

"I am readily accessible to the public," Gunni emphasized, urging the media to engage with him directly or through their respective superintendent of police (SP) level officials for accurate reporting. The government appointed RN Ammi Reddy as Guntur urban district Superintendent of Police and Vishal Gunny as Guntur rural district SP

Guntur : The government appointed RN Ammi Reddy as Guntur urban district Superintendent of Police and Vishal Gunny as Guntur rural district SP. It issued orders to this effect. They will take charge on in Guntur on Monday.

Guntur urban Superintendent of Police PHD Rama Krishna appointed as director of Special Enforcement Bureau. Similarly, Guntur rural SP Ch Vijaya Rao transferred to railway SP in the recent IPS officers shuffle in the state.

Ammi Reddy earlier worked as Srikakulam SP and has been transferred as Guntur urban SP. He started his career as DSP in the police department in 2001. He was conferred IPS. He worked as Tirupati urban additional SP. He worked as vigilance SP in Guntur district.

Vishal Gunni was 2010 batch IPS officer. He worked as SP in Nellore and East Godavari districts. At present he is working as Octopus SP. He completed MA Economics in Delhi School of Economics. He is expected to take charge on Monday.

PHD Rama Krishna who is promoted as DIG, had suspended many police officials for involving in anti-social activities and on corruption allegations. He was instrumental in a closing a famous club in Guntur city.

He informed the matter to the Central government. He put an end to civil settlements in the department. He alerted the Central Intelligence Department about people participated in the Delhi religious prayers spreading Covid-19.

He strictly implemented the lockdown in Guntur urban police district and taken steps to check spread of Covid-19. He took steps to check illegal transport of sand.

Meanwhile, Vijaya Rao taken steps to check illegal transport of sand, Gutkha, Khaini from other states. He suspended many cops for their alleged involvement in corruption.

He closed clubs and strictly implemented lockdown in Guntur rural police district limits and strictly monitored allowing of vehicles from T-state into AP during the lockdown period.

Andhra Pradesh government transfers five SP-rank IPS officers

VIJAYAWADA: The State government on Thursday posted Ch Sudheer Kumar Reddy as the new Superintendent of Police of Konaseema district in place of KSSV Subba Reddy.

The transfer and posting of a new SP comes in the wake of recent violence and arson in Amalapuram over the proposal to rename the newly formed Konaseema district after BR Ambedkar. Arsonists set fire to houses of minister P Viswarup and MLA P Satish Kumar. SP Subba Reddy too suffered injuries in stone-pelting by protestors. A couple of buses were also set on fire during the protest.

Police have arrested more than 150 persons belonging to all major political parties, including YSR Congress, TDP, Jana Sena and BJP, in connection with the violence. Subba Reddy was posted as Commandant of Sixth Battalion, AP Special Police, Mangalagiri. The government effected transfer of five SP rank officers in the State.
