It was a cloudy day when I took my first step into the compound of my school. I was carrying a new backpack that was filled with notebooks. Though the backpack was a bit heavy, instead of focusing on the weight, I was excited about the beginning of my journey on my first day in school.

My classroom was at the end of the corridor. As I entered my classroom, my class teacher introduced me to the class and made me feel welcome. Activities like reading, solving problems in groups, and sharing our lunch boxes slowly and steadily transformed the new student with a sense of belonging.

My first day at school is a very happy memory and I will always love to revisit it. It was a different experience altogether. From the comfort zone of my home, I was suddenly put into a completely new atmosphere – My Preschool. It looked so crowded and noisy. I still remember, on my first day, I was crying and so the memories of the morning are very blurry.

My parents comforted me and gave me my favourite chocolate ice-cream. I entered the classroom, and it immediately cheered my mood up. The classroom was very colourful, filled with small benches and a lot of toys and swings.

The teacher came after a few minutes. She was very friendly. After an hour, we all grouped together, and played several fun games and did many activities together. It was a very amazing day.

I still remember my first day at preschool. I was very excited and nervous. Being a 5-year-old kid, it had been so hard for me to leave my home and settle in a completely new place for almost an entire day, but I was a tough kid. I was also very excited to wear my uniform. I reminded Mummy to iron my uniform many times until I checked myself and was sure of it.

When I entered the school with my parents on my first day, I was surprised with the fact that there were so many kids of my age, some were happy and laughing, running in the ground. While a few were very scared and crying, their parents and teachers were trying to calm them down.

I was having mixed feelings, but once I entered class, I was elated with joy. The classroom was coincidently painted with my favourite colour—Sky Blue.

In my first lesson I was taught the alphabet. But since I already knew them, the teacher called me out to recite it in front of the class. I nervously went ahead and did it. Everyone clapped for me. It was a very nice moment and made my first day of the school an unforgettable memory for me.

My first day at school is an unforgettable memory for me and gave me a gift I cherish till this date. It was a cosy and comfortable evening in April when I was informed with the news that I have been admitted to Mount Libra Zee School.

I didn’t know how to react. I have seen my sister going to school daily, sometimes she was happy about it, but sometimes she was very reluctant to go and made silly excuses to avoid the school. My parents had also brought a very cute school uniform. I liked it and was excited to wear it. But I still had no idea about how the first day of my school was going to be.

How My First Day At School Started

The next morning, I dressed up very early in excitement. I ate my breakfast and Mummy packed a small tiffin box for me. At 8 o'clock, I went to the school in my father’s red car.

When I Reached My School

The school building was huge. It was painted with cartoons. I got happy when I saw my favourite cartoon characters, Tom & Jerry painted on the walls too. My father left me at the school gate to a peon after instructing him about my class. The peon picked me up very gently and started walking through the endless corridors. I could see the huge playground in the middle of the school building. It had all kinds of swings in it. For a moment, I wanted to run away to my favourite Merry-Go-Round, but I dropped that temptation and was dropped in front of my class by the peon.

My Classroom

The class had 15 chairs, all painted with cartoon characters. The wall had ABCs and numbers painted on it. It was a very cheerful and colourful environment. My eyes immediately glanced through the students already sitting there. They all were lost in their own world. Some were sobering, while some were making drawings with crayons.

After a few minutes, our teacher came. She asked each of us our names and hobbies, and then she introduced herself to us. Then, she then asked everyone to name the animals and birds painted on a picture board. We all begin singing the names. It was very fun. She was impressed with us and gave us candies at the end of the lesson.

After 2 hours, a bell rang for lunch. I took out my tiffin and started feasting on my sandwiches. A boy came to me, and said that sandwiches are his favourite. I knew his name by now, Ansh. I quickly offered him one and he was very happy. We soon became friends and chatted endlessly about Spider-Man, Iron Man and Tom and Jerry.

After learning that his favourite cartoon was also Tom and Jerry , I instantly knew I got my first school friend. 14 years forward, Ansh is still my best friend, and I am always thankful to him for making my first day at school a very fond memory.

This meant that we had to move to a new city and join a new school. I was very nervous to move to a new city and even more to join a new school. My present school has all my friends whom I cannot stay apart from.

Nonetheless, when we moved to the new city, I became friends with my neighbour . On my first day of school, I joined the fifth standard. The teacher introduced me and I went to sit in my seat.

First day of school. I was so exhilarated. On the night before the first day of school, I prepared everything for the next day. I chose a beautiful floral dress and practiced french braiding my hair. I had been practicing and learning how to french braid for weeks. When everything was ready, I climbed into bed. I was so excited that I could fall asleep. I kept twisting and turning, and my eyes just wouldn’t stay shut. It was like there was a string pulling my eyelids up, preventing me from ever closing my eyes. I don’t remember when I fell asleep, but it felt like I was awake for hours before I finally closed my eyes and drifted off.

On the morning of the joyous day, I woke up at the sound of my alarm. Before I even opened my eyes, I knew what day it was. I reached for my clock and turned off the blaring alarm. I walked toward my closet excitedly, knowing that I got to wear my favorite dress today. Then, I quickly got dressed, grabbed my supplies, and ran down the stairs to do my hair. When I got to the bottom of my stairs, I took a sharp right turn to my vanity. I sat down, grabbed a small section of hair, and started braiding. After about 10 minutes, two elastic bands, and a handful of bobby pins, I finished. I was more than satisfied with my hair. When I got to the dining table, I saw my favorite pancakes. Swiftly sitting down, I stabbed a pancake with my fork and munched down on it. It was so good. I quickly wolfed down my delicious pancakes and waited for my best friend, Gabby, to arrive.

Ding dong! I ran toward the front door, almost slipping on my socks. I fumbled with the lock as I tried to open the door. When I finally got it open, I saw my best friend and jumped joyfully.

“I’ll be right there!” I exclaimed as I swung my backpack over my shoulders and went to the front door. Then I wrapped my arms around my parents, giving them a tight hug.

When I got outside, Gabby and I started walking to school. Our conversations were endless. We could’ve talked for hours just about how fun school was going to be with each other. When we arrived at our classroom, we had to pause our conversations. Our teacher welcomed us in and led us to our seats.

The day was going great. The teacher told us that we could choose where we wanted to sit, so I got to sit next to Gabby. Everyone introduced themselves to one another, and then we got organized for the rest of the school year. Out of all the things you do on the first day of school, getting organized is by far my favorite part. Everything was going great until 11:50 AM.

At 11:50, the bell rang for our second recess. Gabby 10 minutes later, Gabby says, “Can you stop following me?” I was taken aback. I couldn’t believe it. The first day of school and she tells me to stop following her? She was the only person I knew! I try not to present myself as weak and just laughed as if I ignored her comment.

The rest of the day was fine after the second recess. When I got home after school, my mom asked how my first day was. I told her it was great except for when Gabby told me to stop following her. My mom was taken aback as well. Being the great mom that she was, she discussed this situation with me.

“Is there anyone else that is nice that you could be friends with?” my mom asked.

I thought about who was in my class. “Oh, there is this one girl that is also new. I think I could be friends with her since she doesn’t have any friends yet either.”

“That’s great! Tomorrow, you should try to talk to her.”

Fear of new places: The first day when dad took me to my village primary school, I was very excited and a little worried about how a new place, new friends, and teachers would be. However, my fears did not last long and I easily adjusted myself.

Preparation and Admission: I was preparing myself for going to school on the first day. Mom said I would enjoy my school. To go to school on the first day, I got up early, took a bath, and put on new clothes. Head Sir greeted me with a smile and gave me a set of new books.

Relationships with Friends: I saw a lot of new faces in the classroom. They also welcomed me and became my friends in a short time.

Introduction to Teachers: We had a total of five classes on the first day at school. In the first class, the teachers introduced us and told us funny stories instead of teaching books. I liked all of them very much.

Conclusion: My first day at school was the biggest event and the brightest memory of my life. This is the day I took the first step towards a beautiful life.

Thus, going to school on the first day started a new chapter in my life. I think my first day at school was the most memorable day of my life. The experience of this day will remain evergreen in my mind.

We all stood up. Hardly had I taken my seat when my teacher put me a question. I got afraid and stood dumbfounded. My classmates laughed and I got more nervous.

I felt excited about the new school environment. The teachers taught us with love and with a smile. They have left a deep impression on my young mind.

During recess, while other boys played, I simply, looked on. I did not even eat the tiffin that my mother had given me. I was thinking of her and of my home all the time. At the end of school, I ran home and told my mother all that had happened in the school.

But it didn’t take long for my school to become my favorite place. Those who were strangers at my first meet soon became my best friends . I left there five years of my childhood. The golden memory of going to school on the first day will remain in my heart forever.

Essay on My First Day at School

This is my third school yet on the day I joined it was very nervous. We had shifted to Singapore recently and so I had to change to this school.

This school is very different from my previous one. It has a very grand and imposing building. There are big playgrounds on two sides and a beautiful garden in front. I was very happy to come to this school and had visions of all the games that I would be able to play. And yet I was full of apprehensions.

I saw some students walking around. They seemed to be quite indifferent to me. A few even stared at me insolently. It frightened me. How would I get along with these students? At that time the class teacher of my class came out of the Principal’s room. She took me to my class, introduced me to the students, asked a student to give a seat to me and told me that I should sit there every day. That student did not even say ‘hello’ to me. All my apprehensions came to fore. I felt very alone and stupid.

Then the bell rang. The teacher left the class. Some five-six students crowded round me asking my name telling theirs, making fun of each other and pulling each other’s legs. Soon I was one of them. What I considered their aloofness was just discipline. How could they talk in front of the teacher! Now I love my school.

I used Professor Fleming's baby bar material to survive the brutal first year and passed the baby bar on my first attempt. Then I transferred to a local law school and kept using Fleming's materials throughout my studies. The hardship of legal studies was beyond my expectation, but Fleming's outlines and approaches guided me through the most difficult substantive laws like Civil Procedure, Property, Evidence, and Constitutional Law. I received the highest grades in Property and Evidence in my class and was selected by my professor to work as a Teaching Assistant for Civil Procedure. I graduated with High Honors and passed the July Bar on my first attempt mainly with Fleming's materials. Professor Fleming's recorded classes make the black letter law way more interesting and easier for me to understand, his checklists and approaches are my secret weapons to spot the major and hidden issues and structure my essays in a logical and clear manner, and his writing techniques of IRAQ are my golden rules to write in a concise lawyer-like manner. All those little things I learned from Fleming's Law Review attributed to my success in law school and on the Bar. I couldn't have achieved those accomplishments without Professor Fleming!

I used Fleming's tutor Aaron T. as a supplemental tutor - I needed extra help for the MBE portion of the Baby Bar and also some extra review on non-MBE subjects/essay writing for the CBX. Aaron was always available, super attentive and I know for sure he is a HUGE reason why I passed both exams on my first try. Highly recommend Aaron as a tutor!!!!

I used Flemings outlines, lectures, baby bar and bar prep courses exclusively for law school. Professor Fleming has a focused method that gets you to the finish line. After purchasing Fleming's outlines in my 1L courses I could tell his teaching method was very thorough, which led me to purchase his FYLSX prep course. I purchased the at home option which includes CD lectures from his live course and materials. After listening to the lectures I realized how much I didn't learn in 1L that he teaches. And he teaches in a method that allows you to retrieve the information for test taking and get a better understanding. Plus a lot of humor to keep you awake through the lectures. Secondly he provides a bootcamp study schedule, which I followed. This was key for me to be able to finish on time and learn all the material. Finally, he has you send in 4 essays for critique - this was extremely helpful because I learned some key tips that helped me improve my essays overall. I was extremely nervous when I started prepping for the baby bar, but this bar prep course gave me the tools to leave the exam knowing I did all I could do to prepare.... and I passed!! Next: 2L and I am definitely buying Fleming's outlines for each of my courses!

Professor Fleming is the best when it comes to a Bar prep course! He is energetic and funny. But above all, knows his material extremely well and is an excellent professor!

Taking the California Bar Exam is a huge grind. Fleming's materials made both my law school exams and the California Bar Exam manageable. The outlines and essay approaches were essential in gaining a grasp of every subject and were just invaluable to me in comprehending the subjects tested by the bar examiners. Plus, Jeff Fleming's lectures are very good and his personality gives life to every subject. With the low pass rates and the difficulty of the bar exam itself, Fleming's Fundamental, along with the tutors they provide, made me a first-time passer. Now that you've heard that, it takes work. Put in the time to have a solid checklist for all the subjects, do at least 1500 MBE questions with a hit rate of 70% and you will stand a good chance of success. I didn't use any other bar review course so I can't attest to them, but I am a huge fan of Professor Fleming and his materials.

I passed the California Bar, Baby Bar and MPRE tests on my first attempt and Professor Fleming made it all possible. Not only did I use his bar prep course, baby bar prep course, but all of his individual course for every law school class. He was my main law school professor. Other lecturers I found dry and over informative. Fleming breaks down an immense amount of information into the stuff students really need to know. I hand wrote every one of his outlines into flashcards and reviewed along with his audio lecturers. I learned to write law essays and perfect MBE with his books. Outstanding! The pace and content of instruction is perfect. The organization and flow of information is presented to the learner in a practical method. I have the option of listening to several other instructors and I consistently select Prof. Fleming. I was quickly losing enthusiasm for my classes until I saw classes from Prof. Fleming!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I have not taken the Cal bat yet but I am excited that there is hope for me. Fleming's fundamentals of law and his teaching of the importance of using an outline and to abbreviated each cause of action is not only brilliant but easy to remember. offer clear and considerate writing and is honest about the test-taking. I ordered the entire kit and already I have the method down. I practice daily and listen to CDs on every subject matter. I hear many of my classmates frustrated because they are unable to comprehend the skill of writing a law essay. I referred some of them to use Flemings's as well and not waste their money on other copy bar passing testers. Nah Flemings have been around a long time which proves it works. Lastly, Fleming explains so clear on the Cd's you never get lost or confused. His directions are clear. Fellow law students, we need to pass this exam so please don't hesitate to learn how to write the right way!

Where do I start? I highly recommend Fleming's as your go-to prep facility. I started off as a law office study student As a private investigator trying to figure out where do I go to get the right material. After seeing all the positive reviews I decided to contact them and went through the whole prep program and passed the baby bar on my first attempt. The materials they provide along with the strategies are second to none.

I had taken the first year of law school in 2001. I was in the military and after the attack of 9/11, I was too busy to keep the law school going. Seventeen years later I retired and decided to take up the study of law again. I knew I need to take the Baby Bar, so I few out to Orange County to take the one-week preparatory course from Flemings. It was a very good course. Jeff Fleming is a real professional, a task master, yes, but one who knows what he's doing and wants his clients to succeed. I took the Baby bar and passed it first time. Thank you, Flemings. In my studies since then, I have used Flemings materials and outlines every year. These are very good. I also used the tutor service. This was really a good thing. Responsive, demanding and professional. Final note, all the people I dealt with at Flemings were friendly, helpful and professional. When dealing with the stress of law school, its good to have someone who treats you like a person. I have one more year of law school, then the bar exam. I'm already signed up for the Flemings bar review course.
