Like others, I also have a dream for my India and the way it should be, so I can be proud to live and the coming generation too. Furthermore, a country where there is no discrimination of caste, color, gender, and economic status, sees development in a true sense. People in such countries also progress well in all senses.

Descriptive Essay India of My Dreams

The India of my dreams would be a country that is entirely self-sufficient in all areas. I want India to be technologically advanced, agriculturally advanced as well as scientifically better. Every barren land in the country, which has not witnessed crop in ages, would be cultivated for achieving food grains. I am proud of my country, where agriculture is the backbone and pushes the GDP ahead. 

I am proud that I live in a country with so rich soil containing suitable minerals that help in agriculture and promote farming. Different states of India have different varieties of soil, such as Gujarat has black soil that is suitable for growing cotton, Kerala has soil that is suitable for rice cultivation, and so on. One of the best things that happened in the country was the Green Revolution, offering intensive agricultural programs for farmers.

Women Empowerment

My biggest dream is to see women’s empowerment in all areas. I am happy to see women are becoming independent and can take up family responsibilities. However, many things need to work for women’s empowerment, such as stopping female feticide, promoting safety and equality in the organisation, etc. In rural areas of India, there are still many cases of women feticide and physical attack, endangering a woman’s life. 

The patriarchy is still in existence in many places in India, that needs to be taken into consideration. Several jobs are still not open for women. For things to change in a better way, along with the government and other citizens, women as a community should also normalise certain things to change the mindset of the people and the society. For instance, generally, everywhere, the delivery person that comes to our door are men. There are nearly zero women who accept such jobs. Instead, they choose to be a housewife, which should not be the ideal situation. Society should normalise things for women that men have done for decades. Various types of reservations are also provided in education or jobs to uplift women and encourage better participation.

Thankfully, the Indian government, along with NGOs and social groups, are working towards the safety and empowerment of women in India. I want women in my country to be free from social stigma and live independent lives.

Empowering Poor

The rich are becoming richer, and the poor are becoming poorer. The middle class has been standing in the same situation ever since. This should not be the ideal situation for India. The more this gap will be, the more our country and people will suffer. India of my dreams should be a place where poor people get empowerment, face no poverty, do not starve, and get the proper roof to live. 

Poor kids should get an education, so they are confident in facing the world and living a successful life. There should be no gap between the rich and the poor. The national income should be distributed rationally among different sections of society. In my opinion, socialism is the only remedy that can help to overcome the problem.

Employment Opportunity

The India of my dream should be where every individual should get employment opportunities. People must have a decent job that offers good pay, which will help in fulfilling dreams. Unfortunately, many young people with great talent are unable to find the right job due to corruption, quota, and reference.

Reservation has been the major hindrance in the path of growth of deserving candidates. Many of the young experts end up shifting abroad for job opportunities, helping the growth of the GDP of the respective country. India of My dream is a place where the deserving candidate must get a job. A country where young experts get a proper job will certainly witness profitable growth of GDP.

No More Caste Discrimination

Right from independence until now, caste discrimination has been the major hurdle in the growth of Indian society. In many villages of the country, some people still face caste discrimination issues. It is certainly shameful to see how people are denied their rights due to the caste issue. Thankfully, certain social groups work hard to bring down caste discrimination and give equal opportunities to people.

Reservation is also the major factor in promoting caste discrimination. The deserving candidate, be it of any caste, has to suffer more, and the non-deserving ones, be it of any caste, get admission easily into top-notch colleges of India. They think that the education system of India is not up to the mark and the employment industry is also not very welcoming to keep the students in their company.

I want India to be corrupt-free, which will help in the growth of the nation. One of the reasons the country, even after all these years, is not able to develop is because of the corruption practised by people. No matter how big or small the work is, you need to give the money to get it done.

However, there are government policies that strike hard on such people who look for a bribe to perform the task. I dream of a country where people perform a task without taking any bribes.

I dream of India, which has good infrastructure and sanitation. There are many villages, which lack poor sanitation and infrastructure. The Government of India needs to work on these, so people get what they deserve. Adequate sanitation is very important; it helps people in the village, especially women, to avoid going to open places and face health issues.

The Indian defence forces should be equipped with technologically advanced weapons. All the three military units, the army, the navy, and the air force, should be given extra attention by the government of India as the defence force of any nation is the most significant part of any country. The soldiers should be well-trained and have enough facilities, especially those serving at the borders.

I want the coming generation to have a better life and get everything they deserve for living in this country. A nation where every individual can reach their full potential and contribute to collective progress is the India of my dreams. In this India, poverty, hunger, homelessness, etc. doesn’t exist. There’s quality education, job opportunities, and healthcare available for all. The government shows transparency and holds accountability for its actions is the India of my dreams.  Where the country is a leader in sustainable development and the environment is well protected. 

To achieve this vision, the needs of the most marginalized members of society need to be prioritized. This includes healthcare, education, and other essential services. We must also need to address the systemic issues such as corruption and inequality, and work towards building a fair society for all. 

Investing in infrastructure development, including energy and communication systems and transportation is essential. This will improve the quality of life for all Indians and help in economic growth and development. Additionally, sustainable development and protection of natural resources must be given the highest priority to benefit future generations. With the right efforts and policies, I am confident that we will be able to create the India of our dreams. That India would be the one where every individual will lead a healthy, happy, and fulfilling life. The India of my dreams is the one where every person has access to quality education and healthcare, the economy is developing into a strong one, and hence is providing opportunities to all. The government has transparency and is held accountable for its actions. Although no vision goes without its challenges. Some of the challenges that will be faced in the process include the current situation of the Indian economy where there are high unemployment rates and lack of sustainable development. To make India of my dreams, such challenges need to be addressed and work towards creating a nation where every person can lead a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. 

My Contributions

As a young student studying in college, I have always had a sense of responsibility on my part to do something to give back to the community. So, as soon as I heard about an opportunity available to work in an NGO that is focused on improving the lives of underprivileged children in rural India, I knew it was something that I needed to be a part of. 

I immediately joined the NGO as a volunteer and was struck by the reality of the living conditions of the children and their families. Most of them have almost little to no access to even necessities such as healthcare, clean water, education, etc. Hence, I was determined to make a difference and began working tirelessly to raise awareness about their situation and eventually secure funding for various projects. 

One of the main initiatives we took was building a school in a remote village that had no access to education. It was indeed a challenging task, but with our determination and the help of the local people and their leaders, we were able to get the funding and resources needed to construct the school. As I look back on the time I spent in the NGO, I feel a sense of pride knowing that I was able to make a difference and contribute to our Nation in its betterment. I hope to continuously be involved in this kind of work in the future to make a difference.

The India of my dreams may appear impractical and a little too imaginative to many, but then this is what I want my country to be. In the land of my dreams, the suffering of millions and the burden of poverty will be no more. The ever-widening gap between the rich and the poor will be bridged.

Education will be free and compulsory, and there will be complete law and order. Crime and violence will no longer be because reason will reign all over. Every citizen will be free to express his/her ideas. No one would be deprived of justice. Everyone will live with dignity. There will be equal rights for everyone. There shall be no discrimination between the rich and the poor, high or low, man or woman.

Malevolent and dividing forces like casteism, regionalism, communalism, parochialism, provincialism, chauvinism will lose their identity and roots. There will be no more corrupt politicians in the country. The country will be run by capable and able youth elected democratically. Terrorism and violence would end. Peace will reign supreme. Bureaucracy will be honest and prompt in their duty. Right incentives will be given to those who are economically backward to bring them at par with others. There would be no minority and no majority feelings. No part of the country would feel side-lined or cut off from the mainstream. There would be no child labour, no exploitation and no one will sleep hungry.

Science and technology will trickle down to every village, town and city. Computer literacy will be cent percent. Science will erase even the least traces of superstitions and ignorance. While women are becoming aware of their rights and are doing well in various fields, they still have to fight many odds to make their place in society. The birth of a girl child still considered a curse in many parts of the country. Girls not encouraged to go for higher studies. Even those who well-qualified expected to look after their family post-marriage rather than working outside. At work, the wages paid to women are lesser than that paid to men, and the list of discrimination goes on. I dream of an India that is devoid of discrimination against women.

Technological Advancement

While India has seen a lot of growth and advancement in science and technology, it still requires working harder in this sphere. It is sad to see how genius minds from the country fly abroad to seek employment opportunities and contribute to those countries’ technological and industrial advancements rather than contributing to the development of their own country. I dream of India that offers good employment opportunities to deserving individuals and together all work towards the further technological advancement of the country.

The crime rate in India is growing by the day. Numerous rape, robbery, dowry, and murder cases reported daily, and many others go unnoticed/unreported. Lack of education, unemployment, and poverty majorly attributed to this. India of my dreams would be a country where the government is more sensitive toward the safety and security of the people. It would be a place free from all kinds of crime and exploitation.

India was once called the golden sparrow because of the prosperity it enjoyed. I want the country to attain that glory yet again. I believe that each one of us is a patriot . We all believe in the potential that India has and have great dreams for the country. Today I am here to share with you my dreams that I have for India.

I’m sure that the glory of India can never be exaggerated . However, we need to recognise that we have several challenges and shortfalls that have affected that glory immensely.

Economic Equality: My dream India would espouse economic equality . There are millions of people who are unable to get a basic meal. Economic equality would ensure that everyone has the resources that they require to meet their needs.

Education and Employment: Former President APJ Abdul Kalam dreamed of a India where all are educated and employed . He envisioned everyone as being happy and satisfied . I think this is a very important part of my dream for India. A country is made of people and stands for the people. A country has attained its dreams only when the people are happy and content. The resources in the country need to be put to productive use in such a way that the people of the country are benefited. This vision as a dream I believe is very important. Education and employment are fundamental for it.

Women empowerment and equality: The position and status of women in India is low. Though, our constitution has guaranteed equal rights to every citizen of India, still many of women are deprived of their rights. The India of my dream will strengthen and empower women. The women would play greater role in the overall economic decisions for the betterment of our country. There will be more women pilots, doctors, soldiers, officers and teachers. The society will stop objectifying women.  The birth of a girl child will be celebrated. Girls will be encouraged to go to schools. My dream India will be free from gender-bias and inequality.

The dreams for my country can go on beyond this speech. We need the youth of this country to come together and fight for the nation and build a nation befitting our dreams.

Rights: I dream for my country, India, to be a happy and productive country where we people are aware of their rights and happily follow or complete their duties. They think of country above their individual needs.

More Production of Agriculture: India of my dream should produce more crops of high economic importance. In this way, we can export these items also.

A Road Network: Our country needs a very good infrastructure so that it can develop quickly. For this purpose, a network of roads and railways should be constructed in India. More people will get the chance to travel and earn more money. It will make the country more productive.

Peaceful environment: A peaceful and calm environment should be provided by them so students can work and devote more time to their research and study.

Strong Defence: I also want that our people and scientists work day and night to bring a positive change in mankind. Weapons should be of such kind that they bring more power to them. The self-destruction of mankind is a very big crime.

Conclusion:

So this is my entire dream about India. It’s not impossible if we all try hard. So we all should just work day and night and work hard so that our country can be more productive and our generations live a healthy and happy life .

Every citizen has a dream about his / her ideal nation. Surely every Indian citizen too has some ideas and vision about the ‘Ideal India of his / her dreams’. Like every nation, India too faces some challenges, that are felt by the majority of the Indian citizens. And dealing with these challenges effectively would be the ideal India for a vast majority of the Indian population.

History and Culture

The Indian Civilization is one of the oldest civilizations of the world. It originates from the Indus Valley Civilization. It was a very prosperous civilization that developed the roots for many streams of civilized life including architecture, social behaviour, science, pottery, tool-making, geography, agriculture, etc. The early Indian culture has been the birth-place of many discovering and inventions in the fields of Medicine [Ayurveda], Yoga, Astronomy, Politics [Chanakya-Neeti], Philosophy, Spirituality [Upanishads], etc. India has a rich history and culture in every aspect.

All Indians are proud of their prosperous, rich and intellectually advanced history and culture. It would be great to see this history and culture represented positively in the India of today. The rich Indian culture has many elements that can have solutions to today’s problems in the Indian and the Global society. Indian society should have solutions and applications from its own culture and history rather than aping those from other cultures.

It would make every Indian proud to see the values and learning from its culture and history spread positively across the world. Whereby, the world recognizes and looks upon proudly on all aspects of Indian heritage.

There are still vast sections of the Indian population who do not have access to basic needs of clean water, good food, healthy housing and sanitation. The ‘India of my dreams’ will have prioritized correcting this factor above all other factors of development. Happiness for every human being begins with the basic needs being met. We are proud of India’s rich culture and heritage because India is an ancient country. We are also pleased with our secular democracy and growth. My ambition is for India to become a country free of corruption and to become an economically powerful country. I want my people to become the world’s most powerful economic force, free of poverty. Furthermore, I want our country to take the lead in delivering world peace and technological development. But we don’t see that happening in the current scenario. If we want to realise this dream, we must act now.

I imagine India as a country in which every individual is educated. I visualise that the people of my country recognise the value of education and encourage their children to pursue it rather than engage in menial labour at a young age. Adults who did not have the opportunity to study throughout their childhood must now do so through adult education classes.

India has a diverse cultural history. People of many castes, creeds, and faith coexist harmoniously in my country. India should always remain a place where diverse people of many diverse backgrounds coexist peacefully.

I want the government to give fair work opportunities for everyone so that the deserving youth can contribute to the nation’s progress. I want to see the country become more technologically proficient and grow in all areas. Finally, I want India to be a country where women are respected and given equal opportunities.

A long essay for class 3 children should consist of an introduction followed by the points they’d like to cover in a subheading format. Elaborate on each of the subheadings and end the essay with a conclusion.

My ideal India would be a place where freedom and equality are fully realised. It would be a place where no one is discriminated against because of their caste, creed, religion, or socio-economic standing. 1. Education

Education is the foundation of any country. One of our country’s fundamental flaws is that people still do not understand the value of education. The government is taking steps to guarantee that more people have access to education by promoting the fundamental right of children to free and compulsory education and building adult education schools. My ideal India is one in which every citizen is educated and skilled.

2. An environment that is absolutely clean, green, and pollution-free

My ideal India will be clean, green, and safe for everyone. People will appreciate the lush vegetation, clean air, and pollution-free surroundings. India of my dreams will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Citizens will take an active role in cleaning up India so that everyone can live in a healthy environment.

I dream about an India with good infrastructure and cleanliness. Many settlements suffer from inadequate sanitation and infrastructure. The Indian government needs to focus on these issues so that people get what they deserve. Sanitation is critical because it allows people in the community, particularly women, to avoid developing health problems.

3. Corruption

Corruption is the underlying hurdle of our country’s development problems. Our country will flourish quickly if our government and political system are free of corruption. The bribery system will be abolished, and all bureaucrats will be held to a higher standard of ethics and accountability. Every government employee will be accountable for their work. As a result, the India of my dreams will be free of corruption.

4. Women empowerment

Women are valued everywhere in the India of my dreams. They have equal power and rights. They are considered a vital member of the family, with the ability to make decisions and have financial autonomy. They must be provided with a secure atmosphere free of crimes when they are outside, or at the workplace and even at home. They will receive equal wages as their male counterparts. They must feel comfortable and secure to channel their entire potential and energy into productive endeavours. This would allow them to use their skills and contribute to the nation’s progress.

5. Technological advancement

While our country has made a lot of progress in the realm of science and technology, it still has to strive more in this area. It is terrible to watch how brilliant minds from the country leave the country in search of work and contribute to the technological and industrial accomplishments of other countries rather than contributing to the growth of their own. I imagine an India that provides good job opportunities to qualified folks and where people work together to improve the country’s technological growth.

My ideal country should be one that I can be proud of and live in with confidence. I want the next generation to have a better life and to receive what they deserve in this country.

It is surrounded by oceans from three sides which are Bay Of Bengal in the east, the Arabian Sea in the west and Indian oceans in the south. Tiger is the national animal of India. Peacock is the national bird of India. Mango is the national fruit of India. “ Jana Gana Mana ” is the national anthem of India . “Vande Mataram” is the national song of India. Hockey is the national sport of India. People of different religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism , Jainism, Sikhism, Islam, Christianity and Judaism lives together from ancient times. India is also rich in monuments, tombs, churches, historical buildings, temples, museums, scenic beauty, wildlife sanctuaries , places of architecture and many more. The great leaders and freedom fighters are from India.

My Favorite States from India are as follows –

Rajasthan itself has a glorious history. It is famous for many brave kings, their deeds, and their art and architecture. It has a sandy track that’s why the nuclear test was held here. Rajasthan is full of desert, mountain range, lakes, dense forest, attractive oases, and temples, etc. Rajasthan is also known as “Land Of Sacrifice”. In Rajasthan, you can see heritage things of all the kings who ruled over there and for that, you can visit Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Chittaurgarh, etc.

Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh is bigger than a foreign (Italy) country and smaller than Oman. It also has tourists attractions for its places. In Madhya Pradesh, you can see temples, lakes, fort, art and architecture, rivers, jungles, and many things. You can visit in Indore, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Bhopal, Gwalior and many cities.
