a great visionary and scholar of his time was born on 17 th October, 1817 in Delhi. He hailed from a royal and distinguished family. Indian Muslims played their role in the intellectual development and enlightenment of Afghanistan. Besides Pashto and Dari/Persian languages, many of them wrote in Urdu and English languages. In Afghan historiography, particularly Urdu writings of Indian Muslims are ignored for some reasons. This research paper attempts to catalogue Muhammad Hussain Khan's works written in Pashto, Dari/Persian, Urdu and English languages about Afghanistan. He was a prolific writer. His seventy one books have been introduced in this article. He is the pioneer of new literary genres in Afghanistan such as drama and novel. His works remained in oblivion for a long time owing to unknown reasons. A cursory look at the subjects and themes of his works, gives an impression that he was an enlightened, moderate and precursor to development in Afghanistan. Qutb al-Dīn Aḥmad ibn 'Abdul Raḥīm, better known as Shāh Walīullāh Dehlawi, (1703-1762) was a great Islamic thinker, reformer and philosopher. He was no doubt the greatest Islamic scholar of India and one of the celebrated thinkers of the Muslim history. Shāh Walīullāh Dehlawi’s main focus was on the Qur'an, Hadīth, 'Aqā'id (beliefs), Kalām (scholastics), Tasawwuf (spiritual sciences), socio-political and ethical philosophy. He lived at a turbulent time in India when the Mughal Empire (1526-1857) was declining swiftly after the bright and powerful reign of Abu al-Muẓaffar Muḥiud-Dīn Muḥammad Aurangzeb ‘Ālamgīr (1618 – 1707) who was last great Mughal Emperor and ruled the widest parts of the greater India of known history for nearly 50 years (1658 –1707). In view of the prevailing political chaos, moral corruption and economic declining of the East, Shāh Walīullāh chalked out a plan of complete revolution. In this context, he expounded rare political, social, economical and religious theories which are scattered in his various works. Maulāna Syed Muḥammad Miyān in his books ‘Ulama-e-Hind ka Shāndār Mādhi (Glorious Past of the Muslim Scholars) and ‘Tahrīk Reshmi Rūmāl’ (Silk Letter Movement) has summarised these thoughts which we present in the next lines with necessary additions of resources, background, historical context as well as conclusion.

Rafa Yadyn Na Karne ka Saboot

Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Masud – (رضي الله عنه), very important Sahabi said: I performed Salaat (Namaz) with Nabi Kareem Muhammed (ﷺ), with Hazrat Abu Bakr (رضي الله عنه) and Hazrat Umar (رضي الله عنه). They did not raise their hands (Rafa-ul-Yadain) except at the time of the first Takbeer in the opening of the Salaat.
