Do we live healthy enough lives?

In many countries people are having health problems because they choose to live a unhealthy life. What are the reasons for this? What can be done to solve this problem? It is important to consider that why in today's fast paced life, people prefer to live a ruinous lifestyle. In this essay I will explore some causes associated with this and propose some solutions to tackle this issue. First of all, the main reason which contribute to this problem is inflation rate. Therefore, people need to work over time to fulfill their basic needs which left them with less time for exercises and recreational sports. As a consequence, they fail to balance between personal and professional life. To illustrate, many time companies give double pay to employees for working in over time. So, if they work over time for more money, very less time left for their daily routine. Hence, they skip physical exercises. However, to tackle this problem, governments should pass the ordinance of fix working hours and national wage regulation. So that, people prefer to leave work place on time, and because of this, they find some leisure time for themselves. Furthermore, in today's world, private club membership is becoming more and more expensive and there are less public space to recreate. As a result of this, people choose to avoid exercises. The reason for this is that, to cope with excessive population growth, governments mostly focus to build vertical concrete buildings rather that sports complex, parks and gardens. Hence, people get demotivated to do exercises. In contrast, if governments focus more on building recreational sports facilities or public gym, people find them cheaper options and they begin to do exercises. Therefore, to handle this situation, authorities should build more public spaces for free time activities. So that, people can stay healthy. In conclusion, while people are having more problems in many countries around the globe because of unhealthy lifestyle, this problem is not insurmountable. In my view, this the government's responsibility to tackle this issue and they should begin by considering some of the proposed solutions above.

Looking After Health

Hello, It's been a long time. I noticed I wasn't good enough and I spent several weeks to enhance my writing. Please judge my latest one. Thank you sincerely. People should look after their health for personal benefits, rather than a duty for a society. To what extent do you agree or disagree? There is an ever-increasing opinion that keeping fit should be considered as a good deep for oneself, instead of a duty to society. From my perspective, although the cost of health services may be unsatisfied with some patients, the advantages of this opinion outweigh its disadvantages for the following reasons. We can point out the indisputable fact that the health of every resident is facing a range of dangers increasingly. As consequences of the industrialization, we could see a plenty of examples such as diseases coming from pesticides in agriculture, gas emission in transportation or chemical components in junk foods. Besides, wars, crashes and sudden accidents also lead people to injuries, as the more the development we reach, the heavier the consequenses we must stand in some circumstances. Another equally important reason could be prevailing usages of medical insurance. Take the change of thoughts in well-being over these years as an evident. In the past, the prescription charges used to be worries of most households. Residents sometimes rejected to receive check-ups, while medical centers were known as the isolated places for wealthy social class only. However, nowadays, the prospecrity of economy eliminates those anxieties by medical insurances. Citizens may easily go private to heal their aches and pains or even diabetes, cardiac problems. Being as fit as a fiddle, thus, could be a possible goal. The long and the short of it, I am strongly in favour of the belief that keeping healthy is an action for every single individuals, due to the dangers of illnesses and the benefits of health insurances.

Alternative Medicine

Currently there is a trend towards the use of alternative forms of medicine. However, at best these methods are ineffective, and at worst they may be dangerous. To what extent do you agree with this statement? Traditionally, people in the past used alternative medicine for a long time. Nowadays, many people are still using this medicine to treat a lot of diseases. It is agreed that alternative medicine is not useful and sometime dangerous. Analysing both invalidity of alternative medicine to treat many illnesses as well as the dangerous of drugs in this medicine will show this. Firstly, alternative medicine does not use techniques and facilities that are important to treat a lot of illnesses as modern medicine do. For example, many diseases require surgery operations to succeed by using many technical devices such as sonar and X-Ray that help doctors to perform these operations in a best way. Therefore, alternative medicine is not the best to process many illnesses. Thus this makes it clear why alternative medicine is not effective and useless. Secondly, drugs in alternative medicine do not tested scientifically to specify if it is dangerous or not. For instance, alternative medicine uses plants to produce drugs and these plants may be contain toxic materials or any other dangerous substances. So, when human uses these drugs that are harmful, the state of person may be worse and sometime lead to death. From this it becomes quite evident that alternative medicine may be dangerous and harmful. In summary, alternative medicine has many drawbacks such as useless and sometime very dangerous. Thus, it is clear why the idea of using alternative medicine is helpful to treat many diseases cannot be supported. After analysing this subject, it is predicted that negative aspects of using alternative medicine much more than positive ones and the government should have full control of using alternative medicine. Will people's health be worse in the future?

Hii could you give me opinions on this essay? thanks! The average standard of people’s health is likely to be lower in the future than it is now. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? It has been asserted nowadays that in the future people's health could witness a decrease compared to its present parameters. Personally, I strongly disagree with this view. Nonetheless, this essay will discuss both sides, using both academical examples. On the one hand, the ever-growing use of experimental cures and treatments, which have lately been conducted in most hospitalization centres, could lead us to believe that there are no reasons to think that people's health is likely to deteriorate soon. Governments and benefactors all over the world are known to fund improvements for research centres, in order to find a cure for rare diseases, such as lyme and lupus, and in the fight against the coronavirus in these two previous years, scientists and doctors' experiments have led to successful results, thanks to the large amount of time and money invested on it. This can be used as an example to explain how our heath is efficiently handled by people, who are constantly studying to ameliorate our fairly fragile immune system. On the other hand, pollution and climate changes play pivotal roles in the increasing cases of all kinds of cancers and tumours, resulting in a pejoration of our general health. The index of greenhouse gases emissions is dangerously high in the latest years and the contamination of air and food is the greatest aggravating factor for these mortal diseases. For instance, outputs carried out by Oxford University in 2020, shows us how, in the next 10 years, we will conclusively be affected by more pandemics and rare diseases, due to air pollution and the poorly conditions of our planet. Having manifested the aforementioned points of view and examples, it can be recapitulated that in my opinion, albeit the increasing environmental pollution and the issues resulted from it, doctors and scientist are outrightly engaged in improving our conditions and we will undergo promising experimental treatments to better recover from maladies.

Hi friends! can you estimate my writing essay plz Alcohol is sold in many countries only to people who are above 21. Is it a positive or negative development? In some countries alcohol is sold only to people whose ages starts from 21. I am entirely convinced that this issue positively influences community nowadays and must be controlled in the whole world. First and foremost, it saves lives of people by preventing alcohol-related traffic fatalities. Brain of adolescent is affected differently by alcohol than the adult brain. Although, in a state of alcohol impairment, the adolescent brain is impaired similar to adult brain but to differing degrees. Brain of people who did not reached 21 is worse in remembering things while they are drunk. In contrast, early drink-starters are more likely predicted to experience alcohol drinking and related problems later in their life. Additionally, many researches confirm that in the countries, where alcohol sale is restricted to people who did not reached 21, the overall number of alcohol-related fatalities has decreased. Furthermore, early alcohol consumption can lead to disastrous calamities like suicides or murders, affecting brain of adolescents unconsciously. Beside this, young people who start using alcohol before age 21 are more likely to be involved in violent behaviors. Consumption of alcohol at the early ages are also detrimentally linked to human health and can lead to kidneys disease. In conclusion, from my point of view, age restriction on alcohol sale in some countries has beneficial impact to community rather than negative, and I strongly believe that this age limitation will be in all countries in the next decade.

Additionally, people have been dead considerably due to other reasons such as motor vehicle accidents and become disabled because of careless driving. However, treatments are given freely for them. On the other hand, fumes released to atmosphere by tobacco consuming put passive smokers to danger. It is true that people are educated frequently about negative side effects of smoking. As a result, the individuals should be responsible for their health. In conclusion, it is acceptable that smokers put not only their lives but others live danger also. These cigar-smokers are extra burden to the health care system of any country due to various reason. Although, health as a fundamental need of human, smokers should have equal opportunity to reach to health care facilities similarly to others.

WHO (World Health Organization) is a specialised agency of the United Nations for international public health located in Geneva, Switzerland. It aims to improve people’s health by eradicating innumerable diseases and promoting the benefits of a healthy lifestyle by conducting various campaigns.

Ways of Achieving a Healthy Lifestyle

First, it is required to have a positive attitude towards building an effective immune system that will assist us in the long run. Our body believes in what we say, focus and think. So it is necessary to be positive in any circumstances and speak well about oneself. Research has proven that individuals with a high level of optimism and positivity tend to develop not only a healthy body but mindset too. Planning number of meals in a day is essential to retain the working of internal organs.

Many prefer three meals a day as our ancestors had followed it, but now due to increasing awareness of the nutrition and balanced diet, people favour four or five meals a day. This helps them to enjoy their food and satiate hunger pangs too. These meals do not contain junk or unhealthy food but wholesome items like pulses, protein, healthy fats, fruits, vegetables etc. They help in managing weight and avoid cravings. Several healthy recipes are available online by experts who are simple, tasty and aid in regulating balance.

Also, food should be consumed in small proportions, followed by small bites. Our body comprises of 60% of water; hence drinking water improves our skin health and beauty, flushes out toxins, maintains blood pressure and lubricates joints. It is advised to drink at least five to six litres of water daily by doctors.

How to keep health in a big city

Is it possible to keep strong health till the old age and to live long life in a big city? Yes, it is possible! Healthy lifestyle and healthy food will help us to do this. We all know how much unfavorable the ecological situation is in big (and in many not so big but industrial) cities. There is a huge number of cars and public transport, big number of industrial enterprises and very dense population per every square kilometer. We lead sedentary style of life. All these factors of course do not improve the state of our health.

However, the situation is not hopeless. The fact is that the resources that nature has given to our body are limitless. We have all the opportunities to live not less than the people from Caucasus, who are famous by their long lifetime, or the citizens of rural areas. All we need is not to stay in the way of our body letting it use the protection mechanisms given by nature.

We should not worsen the negative impact that unfavorable ecological surrounding has on us. Our duty is to help our lovely body to deal with all these negative factors. As we have already said, healthy lifestyle and healthy food will help us.

Can medicine replace healthy style of life?

According to the data of World Health Organization the length of a human life and the state of health on 60% are defined by the lifestyle and system of nutrition, 15% is heredity, and another 15% is ecology and environmental conditions, and only 10% is the health maintaining services.

The whole civilized world gradually comes to understanding that medicine deals with a very small part of human health, despite the fact that medical technical equipment constantly develops.

Medicine has at its disposal the latest achievement of science and technology. Nevertheless, our health more and more depends on ourselves and on our style of life. Our health directly depends on active (or passive) lifestyle, on healthy (or unhealthy) nutrition, which is the main component of the health, beauty and state.

Only healthy nutrition can provide optimal growth and development of a child. Healthy, correct nutrition gives us maximal capacity for work and good state in mature age, health and long life length in old age.

What does the concept “Healthy Lifestyle” mean?

What do we mean saying “Healthy style of life”? First of all, healthy style of life means refusal from harmful habits. They are the main factors that do not let our body implement its main function, to survive and keep the health and ability for work in the most unfavorable ecological conditions. The most harmful of our habits is obviously smoking and alcohol abuse . The most essential microelements (vitamins and minerals) are not assimilated. Not digested food fills the guts (that is why those who eat a lot often suffer from constipation). Body start to feel lack of components needed for its normal functioning, metabolisms upsets. The paradox is that a person eats so much food, but still there is deficit of the most important elements in the body. All the organs suffer because of the deficit of microelements. They do not function as they should. That is why many people with extra weight have unhealthy organs. Healthy lifestyle is moderate and rational nutrition.

Healthy lifestyle is healthy food

Another bad habit that does not suit to healthy lifestyle is contemptuous attitude to what you eat, i.e. to your nutrition or structure of eating. Often we “throw in our stomach” everything we see, it sounds harsh but it is so. “Sandwich” system of nutrition, different fast food, “McDonald’s”, various soda drinks, canned products and so on. All these are “poison” for our digestive system. Eating many various “food additions” (plus constant medicaments intake) led to the appearing of many allergic diseases.

Nutritionists express their strong concern on this problem. Healthy lifestyle is food selection first of all. There is no secret that there are healthy foods. Such foods bring use to our body, not damage it. There is a saying: “Food should be our medicine, and medicine should be food”. Food selection and reasonable amount of food is the second step on the way to healthy lifestyle.

We never use patrol of low quality for our car. So why do we follow the recommendations of advertising choosing food, instead of listening to doctors’ advice? Does a car have more value than our own body? So I suggest to take care of body. In this case the body will “correct the mistakes” itself. If there were more natural vitamins and minerals in our nutrition, we would feel much better. Conclusion is the following: healthy lifestyle is balanced healthy nutrition.

Healthy style of life is movement and sport

There is one more bad habit, the habit to inactive lifestyle. A sedentary lifestyle (physical inactivity) is the disease of the civilization. We do not move enough. All our organs and body in general suffer from this. We use cars. We sit at work. We lie at home on the couch returning after work. Only movement and the muscle work give possibility for normal blood circulation in our body. Movement normalizes blood circulation in the smallest capillaries. Physical activity is necessary for our heart. Physical exercises train the heart muscle and in such a way protect us from heart attack. Healthy lifestyle is movement and physical exercises. Exercises also normalize metabolism in our body, which in its turn influence positively all the organs. Morning gymnastics allows to activate the circulation of blood. It gives us charge of energy for the whole day.

Walks outside (in the nearest part or forest) are very useful. It should be also mentioned that physical activity influences favorably our respiratory system. Sportsmen and opera singers do not suffer tuberculosis or lungs cancer. Healthy lifestyle is impossible without physical activity.

How to start healthy style of life?

Let’s summarize everything we have said. To start leading healthy lifestyle you should quit bad habits and develop new useful habits. Useful habits:

  • Move as much as possible, do physical exercises;
  • Be responsible and serious about your nutrition (try to eat healthy food only);
  • Do not overload your stomach with large amounts of food (it is better to eat only when you really feel hunger).

Wilhelm’s cousin Nicholas II, the last czar of Russia, went to extreme lengths to hide the hemophilia of his son and heir, Aleksei, and refused to explain the presence of the notorious faith healer Rasputin, whose exploits became a metaphor for the Russian state’s corruption.

Such suppressions almost always came at personal, emotional and political costs. The source of Aleksei’s hemophilia gene is believed to be none other than Charles’s great-great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria. She passed the gene on to her son Leopold, who died at 30 in 1884, after suffering a brain hemorrhage after a fall, and to two of her daughters. As a result of Victoria’s energetic royal matchmaking, the gene passed into the royal family of Russia, through her granddaughter Czarina Aleksandra, and some of the royal families of Germany, through her daughter Alice. After the queen’s death, it passed into the Spanish royal family, through her granddaughter Victoria Eugenie, known as Ena, who married King Alfonso XIII in 1906. Her husband’s discovery that she was a carrier helped to destroy their marriage, and her oldest and youngest sons died young of bleeding after minor car accidents.

Victoria might also have been a carrier of porphyria, the illness to which some historians have attributed George III’s madness and which produces physical symptoms such as agonizing abdominal pain, skin rashes and purple urine. The queen’s eldest daughter (also named Victoria, the mother of Wilhelm II) might have had porphyria, too; DNA testing on the exhumed body of her daughter Charlotte found a gene mutation related to the disease.

That both illnesses might have run in the British royal family was a closely guarded secret at the time, and the question has still never been publicly acknowledged by the monarchy.

One might have expected that as the British royal family became a ceremonial institution without power, it would become more open. In fact, the opposite was true. If appearance is the only power you have, appearance matters very much. Just before midnight on Jan. 20, 1936, the royal doctor Bertrand Dawson injected George V’s distended jugular vein with a cocktail containing enough morphine and cocaine to kill him at least twice. Lord Dawson gave the ailing king a comfortable exit and, just as important, guaranteed his death would be reported in the reputable morning papers, rather than in what were considered the less appropriate evening journals. The story came out 50 years later in 1986 not via the royal family but through Lord Dawson’s biographer.

George VI, the current monarch’s grandfather, smoked two packs of cigarettes a day and had undergone the removal of his left lung by the time he died. Nonetheless, the cause of his death was reported as coronary thrombosis, a disease with less social stigma than the cancer that actually claimed him . According to a recent biographer of Queen Elizabeth II (Gyles Brandreth, a close friend of her husband’s), even her stated cause of death — “old age” — was a euphemism for multiple myeloma , a kind of bone marrow cancer.

So there’s been widespread sympathy and praise for Charles’s honesty. “His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis,” the official statement explained, “to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.”

It was, however, arguably the minimum amount of disclosure that the king could get away with, given that any withdrawal from public duties would immediately be noticed. Moreover, it did not specify which cancer he has — there are many kinds — or how advanced it is. As Richard Smith, a former editor of The British Medical Journal, wrote, the king might “be either right as rain or dead in a few weeks.”

That said, it’s probably asking too much to expect full candor from any head of state about his or her health. American presidents are just as prone to keep their medical information to themselves. Franklin Roosevelt hid the effects of his polio; John Kennedy’s perma-tan distracted the world from his Addison’s disease and probable celiac disease. A U.S. president’s physical and mental condition has a tangible effect on both American politics and those of the rest of the world. There will continue to be intense speculation about this question for the septuagenarian and octogenarian candidates in the coming presidential election, but no one expects either of them to tell the full truth.

Charles’s illness is surprising and unwelcome news. But at least British citizens can take comfort in the fact that the monarchy is a ceremonial institution with a clear and uncontroversial line of succession.
